I'm with you. I have only preordered a game once and it was just to get a free T shirt. I think preorders are a marketing scheme to get consumers to buy a new game from one store instead of any store. Only once in my life have I not been able to get a game the day it came out without a preorder.

Also that one game, embarassingly enough was True Crime for xbox. My girl still waers that ugly shrit.

MW2 may need to be preordered, while I wont ever play it, I will look the day it comes it comes out just to see if its there and prove my theory that preorders are unneccessary.

I personally haven't pre-ordered in a very long time.
I've just been burned too many times for doing it.
Also the little bonuses they offer for pre-ordering aren't really that great most of the time. Waiting will usually either get you a better price, or at the very least a better picture of what you are buying.
