I guess the subject really says it all...

But yeah, I'm sure everyone has some game from their youth, or maybe even from a few years back that they still think about and would like to play again.

For me right now that game is Monster Rancher 2 for the PSX. I've been wanting to play that so badly, but I'm not even 100% sure if I still have it, and if I do it's back home (I'm away at school right now) but with any luck I'll be able to check in a few weeks. I used to play that all the time when I was about 10. It was an amazing game.

Honestly, I wanna play Monster Rancher again so badly I'm tempted to go buy a copy of Monster Rancher Advance they have at a local shop here. I know it's not quite as good though.

Hey, not to derail my own topic, but does anyone know if Monster Rancher 3 or 4 are as good as 2 was? I heard they both mixed it up quite a bit... (haven't heard much on 3, but I heard 4 did it in a bad way)

But yeah. How about you all? What game has been nibbling away at the back of your mind lately?

I've been wanting to replay Odin Sphere for lack of Dragon's Crown. I loved that game. I loved growing plants in the middle of battle and feeding them phozons. Fun and challenging.

Well, I've been playing through the Mass Effect trilogy again, cuz why not? Mostly I've just been looking for games to kill time before Dark Souls 2 and inFAMOUS: Second Son arrive.

At the moment I want to play through Silent Hill 1 - 4 again. I love those games a hell of a lot. Also I have the urge to play Devil May Cry 4 again, so I installed it just yesterday. But the timing was bad and I've had other stuff to do, so I can't wait to play on it later!

I tried replaying Final Fantasy VIII again recently... what a mistake that was. The graphics have not aged well, the battle system is the most grindy and horrible waste of time, and Squall is insufferably unlikable in most regards.

I have, however, a new appreciation for Selphie.

Like Shinji I started playing through the Mass Effect trilogy again, mainly because I had the itch for it, and I now finally have all the story DLC too.

I felt like playing Bulletstorm again and I managed to pick it up for just £2.50. Absolute bargain as that game is a blast.

I'm playing it again too, but I still find that I think VIII's combat is the least grindy of FF games (which is like saying the liquid that's the least wet) but I much prefered it to others. Like VII's for instance, uggghhhh it took FOREVER to try an level materia... and for each one you wanted you had to do it separately... grrrrriiiiiinnnnnddddd. With VIII, 300 draws and I was done forever fighting that monster. I can usually do 300 draws in a single combat, meaning for about 70% of the time I had to fight a creature just 1 or 2 times. At least another 10% don't have a spell I don't already have, and the rest I only have to fight a few more times. Soooo much better than wandering around trying to trigger a random encounter for the umpteen bazillionth time like in VII.

But yeah Squall is pretty abrasive. Selphie annoys the crap out of me, but her Limit Break is soooooo important.

I did want to play Neverwinter Nights again but then GOG had a sale, needless to say I've been playing the crap out of it.

I would like to play Dragon Age: Origins, but I don't have enough HD space and I'm still running around Undrentide as well as getting Stick of Truth.

like Leon and Kyrian I decided to post pone this years playthrough of Final Fantasy VII and instead started playing VIII. I remembered why I disliked Squall, guy tries too hard to be to cool for school. Zell has a dumb name, a dumb tattoo, and a dumb attitude and is a poor successor to Tifa, still he's better than Squall and Selphie... I don't know what went wrong I'm really liking her this time around :S... also I got max Ultima from Diablos pretty early on and I'm now drawing Bios to simply kill anything that stands in my path with non elemental bad breath strikes :D

and did I mention how much I'm liking Selphie :)

You can kinda break the combat from Disc 1 if you want to. Just go to the beach, fight a few fish, collect their fins, refine them into Water magic and junction to it to Strength on Squall. Also, once you get Diablos, you can turn on no encounters and pretty much play the entire game with boss only fights.

Anyway, I recently picked Bravely Default. It made me want to play Final Fantasy IV again. So I've been playing the Complete Collection on my PSP.

Bioshock, Skyrim and Mass Effect. (I have yet to even get to Andrew Ryan in Bioshock and I began that playthrough in 2010)

Mass Effect I would play again but I wouldn?t be able to stop at the first game and I am still just digesting and satisfied with my last experience that was the whole trilogy that it still just feels like it?s too soon to go back.

Another reason I can?t go back to these games is that I am still way to deep in this hole I dug for myself this past year called a back log to even think about playing games just for the fun of it (okay I know how that sounds but it's not really how I mean it)

I'm still trying to get through Jade Empire and Oblivion and on the side trying to beat Gears of War on Insane....thank god I don't have the physical version of this game anymore or else...break, smash.....seriously FUCK BULLET SPOUNGES!!!
Yeah my rage has broke a few times trying to get through this tedious sluggish dull game and it's "higher difficulty"(fuuuuck you Cliffy B!)

Recently beat Mother 3, so I've had an itch to play Earthbound again. It hasn't even been a month since I beat it but DAMMIT I really want to play it again. I'm not done with the first game though, as I just started it yesterday. Another game I've got an itch play is Crash Bandicoot 3, but I never owned that game. Always played the crap out of it at my cousin's house. Good times.

City of Heroes. Obviously, I can't play it as the game was shut down, but I've yet to find another MMO even half as enjoyable.

I had an itch to play The World Ends With You again so I bought it for the iOS. It was a lot harder than I remimber though it could be because of the combat differences between the DS version and this one, I'm enjoying for the most part so far. A side from that, I want to play Okami again, it's really just a matter if I can find the time to do it.
