Preach it, brother!

OT: I've been replaying a few games lately, actually.

Bioshock 2 after the removal of Games for Windows Live and getting the Minerva's Den DLC for free, I've been playing through for the achievements from the base game and then going to move on to the DLC.

The first Bioshock as well, simply because the world-building of Rapture in it is so phenomenal.

And then Final Fantasy VII and XII, with a wee bit of IX mixed in as well. IX and XII I did because I've had save files sitting 15+ hours in for the past few months and decided it was time to push into them again, and I'm not really sure why I decided to start up VII again. Maybe the coming release of Final Fantasy X for the PS3 and Vita? I want to pick up VI and VIII on the Vita as well just so I can have all the Final Fantasies on a single platform (and I've never played VI for longer than an hour due to my gaming ADD, which is something that handheld systems typically help me fight).

Last but not least, the recent patch and upcoming expansion have gotten me back into Diablo III. I enjoyed it before, but the changes the patch brought about have undeniably made it a much better game. I'm super pumped for the expansion now.

EDIT: And like a few other people, I've got an urge to play through Mass Effect again. One of my favorite franchises. Inexplicably, despite having played through them again just five or six months ago I want to play through the Kingdom Hearts games as well.

City of Heroes. Obviously, I can't play it as the game was shut down, but I've yet to find another MMO even half as enjoyable.
Have you seen the kickstarter, city of titans? I miss City of Heroes as well. It was a sad day when the servers went down.

Abe's oddysee was one of the first games I ever owned, and I've been getting a strong urge these past few months to finally beat it.

Also I haven't played rayman since I was quite young, and I'm interested in seeing if it really is that hard.

Epicly enough, FFX!

I had a phat PS3 and I was seriously considering another run, then it got the dreaded YLOD. So I have a PS2 copy just looking at me.

As we all know, FFX HD is releasing soon, so I guess my want is coming true.

Also, Shin Megami Tensei IV, might go at it with a clean completed file and go with Master difficulty, gonna shoot for the Law ending probably. Might also give Devil Survivor: Overclocked another go.

I want to play Fallout: New Vegas again, but I want to mod the crap out of it!
I don't know who you are but you have just become on of my favorite people. I love IX and I don't think it gets the love it should. I just finished my once a year playthrough myself.

OT:

Right now I would love to play KOTOR again but every time I go to play it something always gets in the way.

Yeah, I backed City of Titans and, when they eventually get to it, put my name down to do QA too.

I tried replaying Final Fantasy VIII again recently... what a mistake that was. The graphics have not aged well, the battle system is the most grindy and horrible waste of time, and Squall is insufferably unlikable in most regards.

I have, however, a new appreciation for Selphie.
This completely represents my experience replaying it last year too... When I was younger I didn't realise you could completely break the game just by collecting strong magic. There is no reason to actually use magic in the game, you only collect it to junction it, and you can make Squall so overpowered even before you leave Balamb Island!

I also agree that there is an abhorrent ammount of grinding in that game too.

Emperor Battle for Dune is the only game that I really want to play currently, I just wish someone would do an update of it because the graphics don't look great nowadays, but it had Sand Worms that ate tanks so it's not all that bad.

Indeed, its always been my favourite game ever since I played it as a kid (beat out FFVII, which was an impressive feat at the time) I regard it as a masterpiece, I only have 2 actual complaints about the game and both are minor:
-Trance can be irritating since it can activate at the end of a battle and waste it.
-Do you have any idea how many blood vessels I broke trying to impress 100 out of 100 nobles in the beginning!?

Other than that, its my perfect game and speaking of which, I better bust out my Vita and get cracking on it.
I don't particularly like Quina, myself, because their function in combat is utterly broken and the character arc is... lacking.

But other than that IX is my favorite game as well, and is only tied with Persona 4 Golden as my favorite JRPG.

I managed to get the majority of Final Fantasy games on my Vita (IV to IX) I actually want to play FFXII again, but I want to see a full HD release of the Zodiac Job System in the west, you don't know how much money I would shell out for that.
I want the International version as well, though I have a feeling I'd need to completely re-learn the mechanics of the game, since playing through it again I've realized that even with being able to give the entire party White Magick spells and pump up their magick power through licenses, the difficulty of the bosses really doesn't mess around.

Considering I think KHII and BBS are the series finest, I am stoked for II.5.
I didn't buy 1.5 mostly because I didn't think the changes in I Final Mix were large enough to warrant it, but even though I've already got II Final Mix I'm definitely considering 2.5 simply for Birth By Sleep Final Mix on a normal controller. My biggest hope is that the framerate is improved, since the Mirage Arena and a few of the boss fights (particularly against the Unknown) run slower than the rest of the game and have infuriating frame drops that can cost you the fight.

I'm trying to keep my tradition of playing Oblivion every year going.

But the faces. THE FACES ARE AHHHHHHHHH. I gotta suffer through this horror gallery of characters.

There are three games I get an itch for from time to time:

Rise of Legends, the RTS about Steampunk Italians, Magical Arabian Golems and Stargate-inspired Aztecs/Mayans going to war

Paraworld, Also RTS, this time with Vikings, Amazons and Samurai pirates rising dinosaurs

The old Battle for Middle Earth games. (Not really one game, I know, but it rarely matters which one I play)

Warhammer 40K Dawn of War, and Command a Conquer. Ah I used to love these games, I have the discs for the games but I'm always missing that flippin' Disk One!

I've been playing quite a bit of Just Cause 2 lately, and the absolutely crazy things you can do for fun in that game have given me a hankering for some good old fashioned Garry's Mod fuckery.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, recently went back to it after not playing it since June 2013 and finally beat
Damion's Second Form.
Then got bored and now back to playing NFS on Ps4 and Pokémon X on 2DS (which technically is a re-visit as well.)
