Be they to hard, maybe you really wanna like them so keep trying but never manage to see it through, hardware failures.... whatever the reason you just never seem to get to the end.

For me it's fallout 3.
1st time playing it... got well into the game, loving it etc, then I decided "About time to clean install the O/S I think"... not remembering the save games was on C: drive (I install the actual games to D: Drive).
Clean installed O/S, loaded game back up... "Oh for fuck sake, just wiped my progress"

Since then I have never ever been able to get back into in... must have played the 1st 4 or 5 hours I don't know how many times I just can never be arsed to carry on.

Risen. I'm getting so sick and tired of its shit. Too many deaths.

Also Dragon Age. The replayability is not all that great.

Right now Persona PSP, I like the game but then some bull shit/my own stupidity will kill me and I just lose the will to go on with it.

Wild Arms 3 but that's because my friend has it right now.

Turok: It's too bad to play.
MW2: I really can't make myself care enough to play the campaign.

Bioshock 1 , fuck you game why don't you let me complete the stupid camera mission. The game won't let me progress and I don't really want to play a that part of the game again seeing how it was before I started my online account.

Zelda: Wind Waker - I made an effort recently, only to get lost and bumrushed by endlessly respawning enemies.

Borderlands - I'm trying to play through, but I can never "get into it".

Psychonauts - It glitched on me and I'm not picking it back up for a few months.

Okami - The Wii controls, while more precise, are much more finicky in what they accept. I'll probably get the PS2 version instead.

Psychonauts - I honestly cannot be bothered to do the Napoleon mission, just too repetitive. Damn you cannons

TES IV - The main quest, "Aid for Bruma" is just so (again) repetitive.

Desert Bus. But in all seriousness, Fallout 3. I just love playing it so much I never actually finish it or do all the sidequests fast enough. I've spent over 200 hours on my character and I haven't done the Broken Steel/Pitt/Point Lookout/Anchorage quests yet. Or a few sidequests.

Bethesda's TES IV - Oblivion
Bethesda's Fallout 3

Pattern anyone? I get distracted doing all the side quests and never make it through the main plot before I get completely distracted from the game.

Deus ex- Long story. EDIT: Not as in, the story is too long, as in, it's a long explanation.
Brothers in arms: Road to hill 30- Just can't be arsed.
Overlord games- They are quite awful.

For a long time, every Final Fantasy fell into this category. My brother and I would pour effort into the game, and have a blast, and then get stuck in the glut of sidequests that open up along with the final dungeon.

Then we'd get sidetracked by different games while our interest is dimmed, and just never get back to it.

Honestly its almost every game I have ever played. I like a lot of different games and I end up buying all of them. I switch between them so much that I can't remember the story up to my save point, so I end up starting the game over.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Final Fantasy before 7 and after 10.

GTA IV and Suikodeon V too, GTA for the yawn factor and Suikoden just because.

If complete in a completion sense, any game with a uber hard game setting is beyond my will.
