games you just cant complete

whether its boredom, insane bosses or just cause, whats the game you cant/wont beat.
saints row 2 whenever i do missions i just get side tracked running people over.

I can't seem to get through Final Fantasy XIII or Mercenaries 2. I try every now and then but it just doesn't happen. By the way OP, your avatar makes me want to sing about devouring human flesh. Excellent choice!

I eventually did but...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES. I got it when I was 6, raced home.. and made it to the last level in two weeks. It would be another 12 years before I finished that last level.

I get through most of Final Fantasy X-2 before I rage quit. It becomes painfully unforgiving.

I also couldn't get through Vagrant Story. Great story, but your limited inventory was your worst enemy.

Well Oblivion, massive bounty stops me from entering any city. Mercenaries 2 as well, the story is meh but it's fun to just mess around in.

Red Dead Redemption distracted me for a long time with side missions, stranger quests, flower picking, and animal hunting. But I completed it eventually!

But I can't complete Half Life 2 for some reason. Partially because a bug of some kind has stopped a gate from opening, partly because... it's old, I know it's old, and there are newer games I could be playing. Also, because it's old, I know what's going to happen, because people have told me, making the whole thing a little pointless.

Oblivion. It's probably just laziness, but this game lasts forever. In a good way, I suppose. But it's just impossible for me to finish. I'm not trying very hard, but still. Another one is the Longest Journey, but I have a legitimate reason: there is a bug and I cannot progress.

i never played oblivion for the story, i just walked around and picked plants.

Most RTS games become way too difficult for me in the endgame missions. I don't think I've ever successfully completed one to this day.

You should stick it out, it's totally worth it for the entire experience. The hunter segments are the worst though. An unrelenting instakilling enemy that can't be put down, all you can do is run away until you find a sealable bulkhead, trap-door to the flash freezer etc...

lets see here...legend of zelda (original), final fantasy XII and XIII, gladius, the darkness, mega man x: command mission, kingdom hearts, and last but certainly not least super mario sunshine. mostly i stopped playing them due to gamer ADD, but in the case of ffxiii, gladius, and mega man i stopped simply because i couldnt squeeze any more enjoyment out of them

I extremely doubt I will ever complete GTAIV. I just keep being the signature "fool in a chopper" in online games.

And if we're talking 100%, you can forget me ever completing lost planet 2. There's just...too...much...content...
