FFXIII - I just couldn't do it. The battle system didn't entertain me, the story didn't engage me. It was the same thing over and over again - fight down a linear path for awhile, then a cutscene. Rinse and repeat.

I finally got myself to beat RDR the other day though. Not that it was boring or bad. I found it excellent, and will probably play through it again. There were just a lot of things that prevented from me beating it in less then a year.

Sonic Unleashed and Assassins Creed.

I got sonic unleashed on christmas the year it was released, played some day levels, it was epic. I played a night level. It bored me so much, I never played the game again...

Assasins Creed. City 1: ''Well, this is repetetive''. City 2: ''THIS IS THE SAME(!), Screw this, I'll go play something else''. After that, it got the same treatment as Sonic Unleashed...

Why do I have this feeling that I should turn on the flame shield?

Nier
Final Fantasy XIII
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Cross Edge
NBA 2K11
If you mail them to me I'll finish Nier and FFXIII for you ;D
OT: I can't really think of any, though if I stop playing a game for a while I tend to leave it unfinished for a long time.

Very well...

Bioshock 1&2
Dead Space 1&2
Darksiders

these are the ones I got on the top of my head.
Would you kindly finish your game of Bioschock, It's a great games. Or at least say why you didn't finish it.
I wasn't having fun. I know they are supposed to have a great story, but I couldn't get into it. The gameplay was dull. Usually I can bare with that if the story is good but I didn't find the story in Bioshock interesting at all. I really tried, like playing for hours against my will to find the story, but I found nothing but uninteresting dialogs. All this talk made me wanna play Singularity again tho... such a great story and awesome gameplay!

Fallout New Vegas. So many bugs, and it never made me care about a single character. Just a tortuous ordeal.

Red Dear Redemption. Boring action, stupid A.I., bullshit wildlife, and characters that just appeared and disappeared.

Final Fantasy XIII

I really wanted to like it but the characters (except Sazh) and the story were so unpleasant that it was impossible.

Bioshock (COME AT ME BRO). I was out of bullets all the time, and the story rambled towards the 50% mark

Fallout 3. The UI made me want to rip my eyes out.

The force unleashed 2. This is on my top 5 worst games of all time. I got about 4 levels in when I realized the entire fucking game was literally a copy paste fest of jumps, buttons, and the EXACT same boss fight replicated.

I just might send you Nier. I already sold FFXIII (one week after getting it at the Midnight Release)
That would be pretty legit of you XD I'm a broke, jobless gamer, so I'll give just about any game I can get my hands on a try.

Bioshock, I know everyone loves it and it's supposedly a great game but for some reason I just can't stand it

Personally I couldn't get on with Fallout 3. I always get hate for this!
I think it's because I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R quite a bit, FO just seems a little basic. I REALLY want to get into it, tried twice now, get about an hour in and either get attacked by an over-leveled bandit or lost!

Agree completely, the gameplay was pretty poor. I played the whole thing, and while the story improved, the game took a dive into awfulness for the last hour or two.

Anyway, FFXIII. Got 20 hours in, then gave up and sold it.

Despite how genuinely fun the game is, I simply cannot beat Psychonauts no matter how much I've tried. Anyone who's played the game to the end (or as far to the end as possible) knows exactly what I'm talking about and are suddenly getting Vietnam-style flashbacks of that very moment. Fuck you, Little Ollie.

Also, ME2 for the pc. Played and beat it on the XBox and loved it. I got it later on Steam cuz it was dirt cheap at the time. Long story short, I got control whiplash. I literally couldn't get past the first boss because I kept accidentally running out of cover trying to figure out the buttons.

Persona 3

For the first hour and a half it's basically almost entirely cutscenes and dialogue. You fight a couple turn based battles and occasionally the game will let you take control so you can move a few feet to get to the next area and trigger more cutscenes and dialogue.

After that, I just got to the point where the game will let me go into a dungeon with 20 minutes of dialogue before, after and during combat but I know that as soon as I leave I'll have to site through even more of it.

I understand that the story to Persona is the main draw obviously and I'm willing to accept that it may have a good story. The problem is that it's told very badly. The Metal Gear Solid method of storytelling, that is never letting the player play the game for more than 5 minutes without interruption, is a pretty terrible and amateur way of telling a story in a video game. I shouldn't have to sit through 20 minutes of exposition every time I go to a different screen or finish a fight.

As it is, Persona 3 is more of a visual novel than an actual game. Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to read a 70+ hour (According to the back of the game box) visual novel. Hell, I wouldn't read an actual novel that was 70+ hours long.

Darksiders, got to the ashlands and just kept falling from the spinning blades and just quit. Also couldn't finish Bomberman:generations because my disk broke...
Sonic riders:Zero gravity, the worst racing game ever, which is a sequel to the best.
Jeep thrills, Wii controlls made it unplayable
scooby-doo:night of a hundred frights. It sucked beyond playability
