Final Fantasy X, the only FF game i've played, and the only one im going to... i just hate the "U kick as hard as u can, then i whip out my bfg and kill u" type combat. I prefer the real time fights where i have to have an actual plan, and not have infinite time to figure out which attack im gonna use next.
You can turn that off, ya know. set the battle menu from "wait" to "active".
Never really got into the story though... so I think ill just save my cash for fps games.

World of Warcraft, any JRPG, and the Halo series (I'm not the kind of person who's into ultra Sci-fi, with Star Wars being an exception)

Final fantasy 7 (readies to get flamed) I have reasons but its not like people will find those reasons valid.

I'm not a good RTS player. I don't have a lot of patience and any carefully laid plans inevitably turn into carnage and "last man standing" type of warfare (I play chess the same way).

Modern Warfare 2.

I cannot stand this game. I loved it when it came out, but once people found their camper spots, started using nothing but harriers and chopper gunners, and all the glitches popped up, it just lost me.

Which is a shame because the game is god damn beautiful. I love the way the guns and player models look. And the controls are the best FPS controls I've ever used.

But the gameplay? Eh.....

Guitar Hero/Rock Band - I just can't play them. My fingers don't seem to be able to hit the buttons fast enough.

~Cinematic games~. I tried, I really did, but they are really just not for me. Plus, the recent Final Fantasy titles (X, XII and XIII), which makes me a sad gamer, because I was always a huge Final Fantasy fan.

Quite a few, I tend to buy games on impulse, meaning I wind up with games I either don't like or lack the patience to play. Prime example is JRPGs, I've lost count of how many of those things I've bought, played for a few hours then never touched again.
Ditto, I like to think I give them a decent shot though, but if a game leaves me cold after a full gaming session (4-8 hrs) then I'm sorry its probably not ever going to grab me.
This is a new phenomenon for me though, only next gen JRPG's seem to do this.

The only games I actually returned so far:
-Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude -- what a mess, nothing at all like the real LSL games. I hear the new one is even worse, hard to imagine.
-Two Worlds -- one of the worst games ever made. It is incredibly derivative and boring, like a ValueSoft version of Oblivion.
-Killzone 2 -- got it with my PS3, and managed to bore the hell out of me within 10 minutes*. Traded it in for Little Big Planet.

I have a pretty big library of regret buys I can't return though. Too many to list.

[small]*Not actually 10 minutes, I did give it a chance. Enough to know I don't want it though. Now I just wish I could get it out of my Trophy list...[/small]

Bioshock was one of the worst for me. I would constantly replay the first chapter, saying "this time, I'll try to play it through" and never could. Dead Space was the same way.

All the Final Fantasy games after FFV have too much flare. I like my FF's to be a bit simpler, focusing on what you are doing, not showing hours of cutscenes. Like the Tactics series. Those are a lot of fun.

Finally, there's the Call of Duty franchise. At first, I only played Battlefield 1942 when it came to World War II games, so I shunned the Call of Duty franchise. I thought I finally began to enjoy them when Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 came out. Then out of nowhere my brain remembered that DICE made good games. Bad Company 2 is now my game of choice. Traded in Modern Warfare 2 yesterday, actually.

Bioshock - I don't know what it is about this game. I want to love it, but something about it just annoys me. Sure the story is supposed to be great, but I cannot get into the gameplay to progress through it.

Halo Wars - The control and everything was brilliant for a console RTS, but there was just zero variety to keep me playing. Just got dull. Too much of wash, rinse, repeat.

Oblivion - To be fair, going to this after playing Fallout 3 was just a bad idea. I got bored.

WoW - I don't I have ever been so happy to see a subscription expire. I played it because I had to in order to please my mind. Any other game I can justify by saying that I will just play it later, but subscription based games are evil.

That being said, I don't sell my games unless it is done directly between myself and the buyer. I give my games more worth than what any 3rd party would.

Devil May Cry. My boyfriend from freshman year was completely in love with the series, so I decided to give it a try. Sorry, but I'd rather not play a game that takes at least 20 shots to kill a level 1 monster.

Bikini Zombie Slayers, however, was a total classic. Best 13 bucks I've ever spent.
