Tis a REALLY bad game to get introduced to during finals week.
Starting ANY new game during finals week is a bad idea! Not that I'm speaking from personal experience or anything...

I guess my dark secret would be harvest moon. Considering I've lived around farming my whole childhood, you'd think I'd hate a game based on it...

Ok ok, I knew a thread like this would draw my blurry, bloodshot eye. I like Evil Genius, some of you may not of heard of it, but whenever I start talking about that my friends through stuff at me... That one time at the Quarry was definately not fun... But to me seeing your little minions flitting about and killing smug Bong type Agents I get a warm, fuzzy, kind of creepy feeling inside. Like when you watch Hentai, it's a mixture of Unbearable Shame and excitement. But to reiterate, Evil Genius, even though I cheat all the time it still has charm. Although I must admit the fact I still play Morrowind creeps out some of my more superficial nerd friends. Oblivion has the looks but it has no depth to it, it's like Linsy Lohan, whereas Morrowind had a good, fun, vibrant, and even hilarious element to it. Like the fact that when you first meet Caius Cosades he says, and I quote, "I'm just an old drug addled man", for some reason I found that the chief of Spies in Morrowind was an addict hilarious. Not to mention the Expansions, I spent hours exploring Bloodmoon and Tribunal. Well, I'm Parallel Streaks, and that's my two pence.

I just ordered Jeanne D'arc...That will likely take many hours of my time and it's a "historical game" which makes it...nerdy? I guess.

Why do I keep on buying them!? They're the same damned game!
I always find some ridiculous little excuse to buy the new one like telling myself that the ball having its own physics system makes all the difference in the world, or they've now included the siberian goat herders union league which i have to win, or theres now a slightly different shade of blonde i can customize my players with.

Oh also, The Sims (tells self: THEY'RE NOT REAL PEOPLE DAMN IT! STOP CARING SO MUCH!)

Alright, so it's more like a series, but when my girlfriend is gone for a while you know what you'll find me playing ;) I think this is one of the few serieses that didn't start a downhill trend, personally.

ill second the rumble roses post probably cause its a bit of a fetish of mine. sadly enough i dont own a 360 or an xbox so i just wish i had that game. additionally i would be rather embarassed to say that i LOVE pokemon snap and will play that game eternally looking for ultimate points. its a great game and i wont hear otherwise. this might have to do with my love for the pokemon universe combined with my love of photography, but if a wii version of snap was realeased id be on that like itagaki on office secretarys.(kudos to you who understand that reference. BDPE ftw!)

Hey, those games are awesome! Simple platformers with a host of funny moments!

That said, my filthy, dirty little secret is that I own a copy of Arcanum. I wouldn't be surprised if you've never heard of it.

Oh, and I actually paid for the Playstation Eye 'games' on PS3.

I own a game called Oni, a little-known anime inspired action game made by Bungie (yes, the guys who made Halo) on the PS2 as a launch title. It received generally unfavorable reviews for oversensitive controls, uninspired graphics, and repetitive gameplay with a kickass heroine at its helm, yet I actually found it quite enjoyable for the storyline and hand-to-hand combat mechanics.

It's a dark secret, because at the time (2001, I believe; I was about 11), I only got the game for the said heroine that starred in it (stupid boyish hormones going for games with hot virtual women...). Nowadays, I'm just starting to play through it again as a way to give it a second chance.

I'm a Tomb Raider fan. Still.

I know it's sort of like being a Barry Manilow fan now. I don't care. It's still a good time for me.

Oni's great fun : ) The voice actors are... rather painful to listen to, but the fighting system is good, and I always liked the idea that you can only carry one gun at a time, instead of like 10, including a rocket launcher and like, a moon base or something ~~

Especially liked the Ninja boss and the second computer battle.

Heavy Metal F.A.K.K 2 !

Scantily clad heroine brandishing a sword, an UZI and an Attitude.
What is there not to love ?
Plus you can get it for ~ $5 and play when no-one is around.

Barbie's Undersea Adventure. Enough said.

(Yes, I am male, and no, I have no idea why I played it. In my defense, I was really bored at the time, though that still doesn't really absolve me.)
I may be a girl, but I completely agree. I was bored, my mom got it for me when I was 7, didn't like it then, played in on a road tip. I also recieve weird looks from friends for Animal Crossing (but I love it), Kingdom Hearts(again love it) and Lego Starwars (WIN!) Oh and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals (SHUTUP ITS FUN!!) ^____^
