I agree it was awful, and an emo festival, but here is something positive that I can think: it was the last Square game, before merging with Enix.Rawne1980 said:

Game sucks, and the Marvel Heroes get absolutely crapped on to make the Imperfects seem cooler and more badass.
But, I still beat the story mode, and at the time I remember it being fun. It actually did have potential to be cool, and a sequel was planned but scrapped.
Still a terrible game, but I liked it for what it was.

Two Worlds.
I know the game is deeply flawed in so many ways but once I got into it, I actually really enjoyed it.
At first I hated how your character started so weak that it took about 50 hit of lightning stave to kill one but it could murder you in one hit. But slowly, you become more and more powerful until you are an invisible god who can go around murdering anything at his will.
Seriously, the first time I made it to the almost final boss, it took me forever to kill him and he could one shot me. I saved before hand and went around just killing random stuff for a long time while getting better and better weapons. I came back and was able to kill that boss in 4 hits and he could barely dent my life bar.
I like many other rpg games a lot more but this is probably the only game I have ever played where you can truly go from something that has the strength of a small cat to an unstoppable god of death who can shoot tons of green beams from the sky killing most things instantly while also one shotting most enemies with his two swords at the same time.

Political Tycoon. Such a bad, bad game. With it's random events that would thrown even the most completely unrelated thing into total disarray, seemingly arbitrary win/lose situations, and some of the worst "political tactic" systems around, it sucked the big one. Yet I always came back to it, for some strange reason...Maybe mind-control?

The anime was pretty good... but it falls apart in the third act and the plot elements from the game felt out of place...
Come on it's about a modern gun slinging Frankenstein cowboy bent on revenge going up against an all powerful mafia organization with superpowered undead minions at their disposal... how is that not awesome... and just look at him...<.<

Huh, the second I read this topic name, that's what I thought of. Despite what everyone says I really enjoyed that game. I just thought it was fun, I guess. I enjoyed the levels and the moral choice sytem, and I suppose I was at that age when pseudo darker and edgier works were still cool to me, it seems a little silly in retrospect but I still have fond memories of playing that game.Spritemaster said:
The other one I can think of right now is Quest 64. It was one of my first RPGs, it was pretty bare bones and linear in retrospect but the combat system was fun and unique and I enjoyed playing it. Originally I had only rented it when it was out on the N64 but many years later I bought a used copy of it for like 5 bucks for nostalgia's sake. It was still pretty fun.
You know since quality is subjective and I enjoyed these games, I wouldn't call them awful. No matter what anyone else thinks, I enjoyed them, and that's all that matters.
Wow GT Final Bout, thats exaclty what I was thinking in my head for mine as I was reading this! I was also thinking no way anyone would name this godawful yet sinfully fun game. And keep in mind everyone that we had no DBZ games back in the day, heck we didnt even have the Frieza saga. Thats right no SSJ, weak am I right? On top of having ass controls the load time was terrible but it had all the way to GT characters and a really bad leveling system where i had a SSJ Trunks with a super punch that could ko in like 2 hits. and I actually liked it once too. But I just had wool over my eyes thanks to the social stigma to play it (and the fact that I never used stopping power or OP killstreaks, yet held the second-highest Kill/Death of 30 friends at a 1.38, and highest Win/Loss at 1.78 by the end of 3rd prestige, when I gave that game the fuck-up).
But, the thing I remember of that game fondly was spec-ops. It was actually fun and I would contemplate to play it again; but if I so much as look at the MW2 disc it instantaneously cease to exist due to my raw hatred of it.
