10 years ago, I got Wario Land 3 for my Gameboy Color. Guess what I played this morning when I found a dusty cartridge in an old box together with my Gameboy Color. I know I loved playing it then, and I really love playing it now.

10 years is a looooong time. 10 years ago I was a little dipshit trashing my brother's N64 for not letting me play with it.

That started me thinking. 10 years ago I played Soldier of Fortune on my brother's high-end gaming pc. I'm downloading it now. 10 years ago, I played The Longest Journey (although I didn't understand much of it back then) for the first time of many times. And I know people here still play this game.

So to the point. Which games do you know for certain you'll play again in 10 years?

That is ofcourse if we survive the very realistic apocalypse of 2012.

Metal Gear Solid. All of them. Timeless classics.

EDIT: I spent my 200th post fanboy-ing about MGS? Success.

I'll be playing my NES with a huge smile on my face.

Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3, Star Tropics and Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers.

That's the only thing which is certain.

Also, I'm still playing Ocarina Of Time every once in a while. I'd forgotten how to do the forest temple, but now I know!

This man has, as usual, a good point. How could I forget Zelda?

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are amongst my all time favourites.

[sub]Hey, listen! Watch out for the evil shadows hanging from the ceiling![/sub]

I'd probably say pokemon on the gameboy as im constantly either playing one of the many different versions on an emulator or borrowing copies off of friends, or the orginal sonic games for the mega drive, being the first video games i ever played, and games that i always play if i cant be arsed with anything else

I've been playing XCom: UFO Defense [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ufo_defense] for the last 16 years. I see no reason I would stop.
I've been playing System Shock 2 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/System_Shock_2] for the last ten years. Probably keep playing it, too.
One game I'd like to play again is King's Field [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King%27s_Field] (and King's Field 2). But that would require finding a Playstation 1 in good condition and buying a TV (TV sucks).

Mmm...My precious Red Alert 2/Yuri's revenge and even possibly Tiberium Sun.
I remember when those were top-of-line.

10 years from now, i know i'll be all excited to pull out my dusty 360 out, and play Tekken 6. Its a legend of a fighter game.

I disagree, the fighting is excellent but the problem is that the main story doesnt use the fighting system no it decided that devil within should become the new gameplay style, couple that with bad online multiplayer and a boss that is cheaper than Jinpachi well lets just say that Tekken 3 was the best in the series tekken 5 is a close second. I wish thay kept Tekken Force cus that was actually good

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and probably the others too, more than likely.

There's the Half-Life games, too. Oh, and the origonal Dooms (Before you say anything, I only get it last year... Yes, I missed out big-time when I was a kid), but Doom doesn't count since I'm sure lots of people whip that out every now and then.

The first two Banjo-Kazooies, too. Especially #1, I replayed through it on my N64 recently and loved it. The XBLA version has the controls more than a little screwed up for my liking.

Probably Fallout 3 and Deus Ex (Again, only got this one last year... Don't judge me. ;_; ) as well.
