Games you like but are ashamed to admit you like?

Playboy: the Mansion. Sure it's a game mostly about convincing people to get their tits out so you can photograph them and sell the pictures (and occasionally shag them in the hot tub), but it was also a challenging and interesting magazine sim. I like the game and I'd happily play a remade/revamped version, but I assume if I tell people that they'll assume I'm in it for the tits which, like my love of Game of Thrones, is only 40% true.

Pretty much none. Anything from Monster Girl Quest to Dragon Age 2, I've no shame concerning what games I enjoy. Though it's not like I go announcing I play... 'questionable' games on Facebook. Some things are not for my mom's eyes.

I felt like I should be ashamed for liking Final Fantasy IX as much as I did. The way people talked about VIII seemed to imply that I should have felt ashamed of that too (but seriously, the junction system offers some great geek-out opportunities). Many would probably agree that I should feel ashamed of not liking VII enough to make it farther than the Golden Saucer in disk II. I also liked Advent Children even though some have commented on how ridiculous it is (and it is, but somehow not enough to keep me from liking it).

Also, Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel sounds like the lamest thing ever but was one of the best 2D platformers I've EVER played. It's a bit short though.

I don't have any shame about the games i enjoy. I love Dragon Age 2 and don't care what anyone thinks of that.

Wouldn't say I'm ashamed per se, but I don't hate David Cage games..

I don't pretend that the critique of something like Heavy Rain is unfounded; it's melodramatic, has vague choice/dialogue options, and compared to the parental relationship in Walking Dead my investment in the lost child was meh. And yet, I still find a level of enjoyment with it and its quirks.

That is my opinion, and I will fight you over it. Fable 2 is awesome.

There were some parts that I wish lasted a bit longer, and I wasn't fan of wearing a friggin halo when I topped my morality, but I was fond of Fable 2 as well. Notably more appreciation for dry humor than Fable 3 ended up having.

I'm ashamed of liking Silent Hill 3... more than Silent Hill 2.

At the very least, I'll back you up in regards to the fear factor in some of the later areas. SH3's hospital section nearly made me lose it.

Barbie Riding Club. I recently spent about six hours of my life redownloading it and attempting to get it to work on a Windows 8 machine when its native habitat was Windows 98. Then I settled for playing Star Stable Online instead.

Same here. Absolutely loved me3 multi as well. Far more interesting than gears, halo, cod, far cry 3 or any other I'd played

Games which I consider good are universally loved, for I am the Divine Standard by which all games are judged. Too dislike a game which has been deemed worthy by My Will would be an affront to the heavens.

Final Fantasy X-2 is my favorite game ever.
I can't really explain why I like it but I still think it is an amazing game that everybody overlooks.

I love FFX-2 and am not ashamed to admit it. It has the best gameplay out of the whole series.

I fully enjoy Aliens Vs Predator Extinction on the PS2. It's rts dumbed down to its minimum form, and there is some very poor AI scripting and the occasional occurrence of a player controlled unit acting of its own accord, but I love it and still play it to this day !

I'm ashamed of liking Silent Hill 3... more than Silent Hill 2.

This is just for one reason: Convincing people that it's possible to like anything other than Silent Hill 2 is like trying to convince a religous fanatic to not act on their faith. There is simply no saying "I liked the story and the gameplay is better" without a million responses telling me how the character arcs are amazing and the story is fantastic in SH2. I KNOW! I played the damn game and I loved it, Angela is my favourite character in video games (and possibly in fiction) and I loved how even though I knew what the plot twist was I was still amazed by how it was handled.

If it makes you feel any better, I like Heather a heck of a lot more than I like James. James was a bit too much of a flat, average Joe kinda guy. Heather had more personality.

OT: I'm not really ashamed of it, but I do quite like CoD multiplayer. I hate the people, but it's seriously satisfying when you beat the shit out of campers, snipers, idiots, etc. If you leave the enemy mics on, you can hear them go ape shit every time you kill them. It's glorious.

Actually, speaking of Silent Hill, I like them all. All of them. Except Homecoming, which was a pile of shit, if you ask me.

As much as I like Dragon's Crown, I still really hate the female designs in this game. The male characters, minus the mage, are over the top power fantasies with ridiculous proportions. The female characters, even the non-playable NPCs are ridiculously sexualized for fan service. It irks me to see such stupid designs in an otherwise great game.

And before anyone posts, yes I know that was their intent. I still believe it was stupid.

Oh ok then. Some wii cooking/resturant owning/spice and recipe collecting game. Cant remember the name, only that i spent a whole, very lonely night flipping burgers and lifting chip pans with the wii remote. I was partly wondering why i dont just do the real thing and get paid. But then i peer agrophobically out of my darkened windows and realise its due to all those sinister people.
Plus it has a really addictive progression system.
