Games you like that Yahtzee doesn't

Say what and why. Mine is Red Faction 1 cuz I have very fond memories of the multiplayer, and it was the first game I ever remember wanting to get home from school to keep playing the story mode of. I still own it and everything.

I would like to add that I have, from what I've seen, very similar taste to Yahtzee in games and the things he likes and dislikes about games.

I assume every game I like except the ones he likes.

Why the thread though?

Well... Many of them.

I do find that a great many of his opinions shown in Extra Punctuation, and his nerd-on for The Sands of Time are opinions that I share with him though.

I suppose any RTS game. Especially Starcraft. I sense he may be annoyed with the popularity of those games.

Not really a gripe though, there are plenty of game genres that I can't stand.

All of these except Torchlight.

I understood his arguments, but in typical "fanboydom" i think u have to look at other parts.

Also i do parkour, which may have influences my opinion of Mirror's edge

I liked a LOT of the games he hates, but here are the biggest ones:
Super Mario Galaxy 2-I thought this game was genius and amazing.
Grand Theft Auto IV- Probably the best thing Rockstar has ever made (Besides CHinatown Wars )
Mirror's Edge-I thought this game was AMAZING. I LOVED IT.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars-I thought it was well crafted and very engaging. The controlls weren't that bad. They were pretty good.
Assassin's Creed-He said he liked 2, but I loved the original too.

Too Human, Assassin's Creed....did he like L4D? I think he did...if not, that. Just Cause 2, Borderlands, Spore, Oblivion, and yes, I did go through his whole list of videos and pick out games I like that he probably didn't....even though my memory is equal to that of a drunk duck with Alzheimers.

A lot. Yahtzee's a funny guy, and he makes sense in his Extra Punctuation. But I probably couldn't disagree with him more on taste in games.

I think Demon's Souls is great, Portal is aggressively overrated and Silent Hill 2 is boring. So, basically, I'm committing sacrilege in his eyes.

Nevertheless, he's not a game critic. He just makes funny videos. Either he just hates everything or he exaggerates because it makes for better clips. I'm willing to bet it's the latter.

same here! i didnt see what the problem was, the game was awesome! and the controls and the first person view arent that much of a problem
