EDIT2:
I think that we can all aggree on this forum that videogames are great. They're a fun hobby to have and enjoyable to play. But I think we all have one game or another, that we love, that can be a bit cringe-worthy sometimes. This generally doesn't mean that the game is bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it can lead to some rolled-eyes.
This can happen for a variety of reasons. It can be a storyline that's obnoxiously preachy about about certain aspects, an issue of rather blatant fanservice or just a particular level or game mechanic, whose sole purpose is to artificially stretch the gametime. Really anything that has made you cringe or roll your eyes about a game that you generally really like.

So sexism in videogames has been a pretty big talking point in recent years. And while I personally think that the majourity of outrage-cases against sexism have been exagerated and are pretty silly, I do admit that there are some cases were there are some problematic elements in the games we play and love.
So what I would like to know from you guys. Are there any games that you personally like or love, were you can freely admit that they are kind of problematic in some form or another.

EDIT:
To clarify what I mean in this case: I am not talking about any major offences here, like Ride to Hell Retribution or anything. It doesn't have to be anything really offensive, just maybe something that's overly pandering or something similar. To give a well-known example would be the Miranda Ass-shots in Mass Effect 2. It's not something that "RUINS THE GAME!", it doesn't make the game bad. But it's something that's a bit cheap and maybe makes you roll your eyes when you look at it. It still doesn't mean that it or the game are absolutly bad and should be removed. Just something that's cheesy or pandering that you noticed.
Wow, it's really hard to explain this precisely when English isn't your first language.

My personal example will be Risen 3. I loved the Gothic games, I loved the first Risen and I loved the third Risen game. No other game has managed to do exploration and discovery quite as fun as these games. Coupled with a good sense of humor here and there and you get a fantastic experience.
The second Risen game however was quite poor in a lot of cases, with a much more linear scope than previous games, a larger focuss on a pretty poor story and pretty big balance issues (The moment you get a rifle, the game might as well give you the win right there because nothing will be able to defeat you at that point).
But theres one thing that the game did rather well, or rather one person that it did rather well and that is Patty. Patty is pretty badass pirate and a fighting companion of yours for a large part of the game. She's also a bit of a love interest but the game interestingly never lets you actually hook up with her. Which makes sense because in the context of the game she just has better things to do. She also looks very fitting for her part.

Now the same character appears in Risen 3. Though this time she looks like this.

Which at that point just seems like obvious pandering since she looked very different in the previous game. She looked sort-of similar to this in Risen 1 (At least in the chest area), so it might be that the developers wanted to get back to this since Risen 2 wasn't too well received, but the reason she looked that way in Risen 1 was that all women looked that way in Risen 1. They only had 1 female model in that game.
It would make sense if they wanted to set her up for a real romance option in the third game and wanted to make her sexier for that purpose. But that's not even the case. In fact your playing a different hero in Risen 3. A hero who's the brother of Patty. Yes, the character in Risen 3 with her massive breasts hanging out is your sister.
Great, just great.

The question should be "when would a game/character/mechanic be considered sexist?" (An entire game doesn't have to be sexist if only a small part of it is, for instance.)

In the case of the OP's example, I wouldn't even call that sexist. More pandering to an almost non-existent crowd. As, really, what guy is more likely to buy a game just because some woman in it has a large unrealistic chest? I've never encountered anyone who bases their decision on stuff like that.

Pandering, fanservice that sort of thing. And again, this isn't meant to demonize games here. But some games do have some sexist elements in them. Doesn't mean that the games are bad.
But for this thread just use your own definition of sexism, that's what this thread is for. What are games that you like with something in them that you would consider somewhat sexist.

That's fine. I just personally think blatant pandering and fanservice like this is somewhat sexist. It doesn't mean that the game is bad, it just is a bit sexist.
But the thread is more meant for your own definition. What games do you like that would be somewhat sexist in your definition of the word.

Rumble Roses.

Okay, yes. Tits. And it has mud wrestling, and a humilation game mechanic.

you know what else? It's also a damn good wrestling game, with a great cast of colorful lady wrestlers who'd fit perfectly well into modern WWE. Hell I'd even think it would make a great anime considering some of the character's backstories. So not only did the player get the extreme beach volleyball presentation, but decent gameplay to go along with it.

Plus I love Reiko Hinnomoto's look. She's cute, while at the same time looking like a bad ass Goldberg style MMA fighter. Every one of these ladies looks like she could do some serious damage.

I see, in that case I can't really think of a game that I play that's sexist. Plenty of pandering and fanservice, but I don't see that as sexist. As I define sexism as direct discrimination. Taking the risen 3 example again. Sure, that woman has one hell of a chest that would hurt her back like hell if she was real. But based on just that, I can't say she's being discriminated against. The, to me, non-existent demographic of 'horny teens basing their purchases on sexy women with big racks' is just being pandered to.

That's fine if you don't think any of them are sexist.
I also wouldn't say that any sexy ladies would be sexist. For example I don't consider Risen 1 to be sexist, even though every single woman in that game has big breasts, but considering how small the developer studio is and that they only have a small amount of female characters in the game it makes sense that they would only make one female character model. And it also makes sense that they would make it sexy, because why not. There's not even that many more models going around for the male characters as well.
But in the case of Risen 3 I do consider it somewhat sexist since it was a major established character that allready had an established look. And that look was changed for Risen 3 in order to provide fanservice. Additionally every other established character from previous games pretty much looks the same in Risen 3. Patty is the only character that has gotten a large overhaul like this to provide fanservice and that's what I consider somewhat sexist.

All of 'm?

I mean, shit, every game is a bit sexist. So is every movie and television series for that matter.

Is it even possible to not be the tiniest bit sexist/objectifying/racist?

I doubt anyone sane could argue Tetris is sexist.

Fat shaming, color racism, and phallic shapes entering spaces without consent. Tetris is the most bigoted game ever.

I think Dynasty Warriors doesn't exactly treat its females right. Pretty much all of them are devoted wives who always gush over their husbands and really don't have much interaction with anyone else. Weirdly enough its counterpart Samurai Warriors doesn't seem to have this problem.

So basically it's WWE in the Attitude Era?
XD considering I'm doing a binge watch and I just entered Jan 1st 1999...

No, that wouldn't be accurate. Cause Rumble Roses portrays them all as really competent competitive wrestlers, and in the attitude era women were basically a joke and eye candy.

and, yeah, Rumble Roses is eye candy but that's just one part of the larger package... I dunno, Joshi is weird.

Ya know what it's like? I know what it's like. That NXT wrestler, Asuka. Rumble Roses is Asuka in video game form.

(She's sexy, but one kick from her will crack your skull open)

I like the COD games, even though their entirely about violently killing men and men alone.

I was going to suggest that sort of domesticated housewife approach might have been some limp-wristed approach at historical accuracy, what with all that sexist Confuncianism going on in China at the time, but then I remembered fighting an army of ghost spearmen as a giant barbarian king with a magical fire-conjuring flute.

To be fair, its a series based on history and war. Not a lot of females to choose from that aren't just famous wives and concubines. Would you prefer they just not have any women besides Wang Yi who was only actually relevant for one minor battle but instead is given major importance in the Wei army?

No More Heroes, though it isn't really any kinder to the protagonist than any of the ladies.
No love for this Otaku Assassin. He does seem like the type to enjoy having an underage girl call him master.

I would never call it sexist, but Tifa's skirt in FF7 always bothered me. She's a karate master, wear loose shorts like a normal person!

Berserk is basically perfect, and has no flaws, but if it theoretically had a flaw, it would be that emberasing scene where Casca apologizes for having her period in front of the entire (male) army.
