Do not even try to go through Sonic 3 or Sonic & Knuckles alone! Get the complete package! Do the lock-on of Sonic 3 & Knuckles! Even on Steam, they have them locked together!

After I moved from Florida back to Chicago I left my Genesis behind and my aunt ended up selling it without my permission. So now I play it off the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection disc for Ps3 and I'm not sure it has the option to dock the games.

I don't really love any game. Love is too strong of a word for me to use, so I'm just going to say like instead.

The first game that popped into my mind was Bioshock, and I never finished it because people said...

after you discover the big secret and kill Andrew Ryan...

the game just basically drags out after that peak.

The only other game I can think of is The Witcher 2, and the only reason I haven't finished it yet (or even got past the first town) is because I got fed up of playing on very low settings and still getting mouse lag, yeah I have a fairly rubbish computer.

But still, I'll play the Xbox version when it is released, and enjoy the hell out of it.

Battlefield 3, the single player portion almost made me throw up due to the total lack of creativity and immersion - stopped a few missions in and I don't ever plan on continuing.(Love the MP though ^-^)
Ditto. I even went so far as to pay for the co-op unlocks because co-op is just as bad as the single player. I love this game, it is both the best and worst game of 2011.

I couldn't think of any (save for old SNES games that I could only play at friends' houses), until I saw one mentioned in this thread. Operation Flashpoint. I played quite a lot of it, and its expansion, and fooled around with the level editor for some extra fun. Never made it through an entire campaign though... and I'm sure plenty of others can say the same, thanks to its brutal difficulty at times.

The top contender for me is Tomb Raider 1. I'm still stuck in St. Francis Folly, because Pierre keeps killing me. I haven't picked it up in a few years out of pure frustration. I'll do it one day, I swear!

Then there's also Sonics 1 and 2, which I last played as a kid. I actually tried to set the Genesis up a few months ago, but apparently you need rabbit ears for it to plug into a modern TV, which I don't have. God knows how that works, but maybe one day I'll buy a cheap TV from a garage sale so I can play all those old games again.

Morrowind and Deus Ex right of the top of my head. I suck at the more hardcore-ish RPG's, but damn, do I love them.

One game I regret not finishing is Chrono Cross.
I had it on my emulator on my PC, but the emulator doesn't handle swapping discs well and would not advance past disc 1.
It saddens me because I was really enjoying it.

Dark Souls.

Not because it's too hard; I just always seem to get sidetracked by something else when I realy start to get into it. Compunded by my friend spoiling the phenomenally lackluster ending.

For some reason, I haven't finished Yakuza 4. I'm at the point where you can switch characters at will, but I always end up wanting to finish up all the side quests. I think there are only one or two left, but I kind of lost interest...

And Okami. I always play with huge breaks in between each time I fire up the game.

X3: Terran Conflict. At a certain point it becomes ridiculously easy and you can abominate everything in your way with your cap ship fleet, since the game sucks at scaling difficulty at the rear end. Its an amazing game but the rollercoaster learning curve really lets you down at the endgame... hoping rather hard that X4 will make me its *****.

All the Final Fantasy games I've ever touched. I either get stuck or the time investment is so long I lose interest / get distracted to another game.

Resonance of Fate. Great game, one of the best of the console generation, haven't touched it in months, beggining of Chapter 7.
