Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, the best PS1 platformer that nobody played.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, though I guess it's not really that obscure.

Brutal Legend, which was developed by Double Fine, and caused court battles between EA and Activision.

inFAMOUS 2. It was overshadowed by the vastly inferior Duke Nukem: Forever at the time of its release, so I can see why it never really got its time to shine. I think Yahtzee's positive review of the game at least got it a bit more if the credit it deserves, IMO.

Hah, I'm going to be that guy again.

The Gothic Series!

It's honestly a fantastic series of role playing games (Except for ArcaniA. ArcaniA is the Invisible War of Gothic) and it doesn't seem to get enough credit for how great it was. The main selling point (of the first two games at least) was definitely the atmosphere...Even at Level 30 a walk through the forest could be the end of you if you ran into a pack of wolves and reacted a second too late.

Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes

It has quite a lot of cool features and I really had fun screwing around.

Super Robot Wars. The entire series.
I've only met one other person who even knew what the hell it was.

Legend of legaia . Very few people has played that game . Only a handful ever talk about it .

Parasite eve. Love that game , too bad the sequel was changed into an action game instead of a rpg.

I'm not sure if this has been said yet or not, but I'll say it anyway: WHERE THE HELL IS MY CONDEMNED SEQUIL. YES the blocking was a little clunky in the first one. YES the second one kind of dropped the ball in terms of reliance of story and reliance on guns. but you know what? Other than the riddick series (something else I think could use a sequel, the games that is, not the movie) I don't think theres a better first-person brawler out there. Nor do I think any games have ever truly captured the creepy feeling of films like Seven and Silence of the Lambs so perfectly

Fatal Frame. I would consider it one of the scariest, if not scariest games out there (I am talking about the first one), and yet people never seem to talk about it. It's strange because I thought it was a popular game.

Whenever the discuss of creepy games come up, people will say Silent Hill (I don't disagree there), Amnesia (nor there), or Dead Space (here I disagree).

Also, hell yes to the Timesplitter mentions. Those games were amazing. I'd give up my first born for another entry into the series.

I'd probably say games like Blazing Dragons, Legacy of Kain, and Tail Concerto are all games I liked quite a lot and nobody really talks about them, or at least not anymore in the case of LoK. I heard they might reboot that, but that just pisses the fans off further cause the last game didn't have a satisfying ending - although it had excellent gameplay.

Don't hear anyone talking about Okami or Chibi-Robo, either. I wanted to say EarthBound, but then I remembered Starmen.net is a huge community of fans.

Kingdom Hearts.
I'm talking about 1 and 2, to my knowledge all of the others are terrible except possibly Birth by Sleep.
Funny, I hear of people talking about Kingdom Hearts all the time, and they're typically bitching cause Sora's the main character instead of Cloud or some bullshit like that. Insofar as the games themselves go, I liked 1 and 2, and the remake of Chain of Memories was a lot better than the GBA version if for no other reason than proper voiced cutscenes and making KH2's plot make sense. Although I hated the shoehorned-in backstory with Xehonort and the Keyblade Wars which really came in kinda outta nowhere near the end of the game.

I'll probably never touch BbS or 365/2 Days cause I just want them to move the plot forwards instead of backtracking for the last 6 years. It's sad, cause Kingdom Hearts had a lot of potential in my eyes, but Nomura keeps muddying it up with FF and needless drama-filled backstories. Now it feels like the series just survives by adding old Square characters, cause I've had quite a few people tell me that's the only reason they got DDD.

Oh gods, I loved Legend of Legaia, but I'd heard the sequel was horrible and had nothing to do with the original title. It's kind of like how I absolutely adored Grandia 1, but Grandia 2 had nothing to do with that setting or story.. it was still good, but they just kinda screwed the pooch when Square got ahold of it to make the third one. And yeah, PE 1 and 2 were really good, but I have no idea what they were hoping to accomplish with the third one. And to hear them talk about it, they made it that way cause of fan input. And I think, "What fan would have wanted this?" I didn't even like the fanservice they rewrote part of the plot to shoehorn in.

Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars. It is an old game but it is a fine mix of RPG and RTS but i feel like i was the only one with a copy of that game let alone the gold edition. It looks like even the its own developer forgot about it.

For being a relatively wall known game series - as far as I'm aware - Dead Rising. I love it but even when the more recent ones came out (I wasn't part of the forums when the first one did so maybe they did then) no-one was talking about them.
Nobody talks about them because THEY WERE SHIT.

Far Cry 2.
Game was so rad.
Oh, it seems I touched a nerve with someone. I apologise, yours is obviously the almighty opinion. Don't worry I'll pick another one if you really want. Although it doesn't help that you picked a thoroughly mediocre game yourself.

I agree, loved playing through it, especially all the little things like the Superman theme playing when you flew around Gotham as him and stuff like that.

Ronin Blade/Soul of the Samurai.

An old PS1 action game where you play as either a Ronin or Ninja in parallel storylines where you fight against Ninjas, Samurai, Zombies, Giant Worms, Giants, Monsters, Mutants etc etc. It was a little on the short side but it was one of those games that could be played over and over again.

Also, the soundtrack was bitchin!

God damnit, why doesn't anyone talk about Starcraft II: The Greatest Game of All Time?
Your avatar goes rather perfectly with that question. xD

I'm gonna go with the Sly series as a whole. I haven't heard a peep about Sly Cooper other than that he's a playable character in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale(boy doesn't that just roll right off the tongue). I'd like to see more discussion about Sly 4: Thieves in Time and about how awesome it's gonna be. >:[]

Now I have a strong desire to replay the series again. :{
