I've seen some reviews of games like Dirge of Cerberus (Final Fantasy VII) but wasn't very appreciated. I myself love this game. It gives a good story and it has my favorite character of all time in it. What is a game you love but it is not as popular as other games?

Harvester was a breath of fresh air in the FMV genre, a genre populated with less than quality titles during the 1990's.

Alas, despite it's controversy for the incredibly gruesome second half, not many people talk about it - or even know about it.

Ohhh let me see.

Spectrobes comes to mind.

I like it, its a very unique take on pet battling with some awesome creatures and a simple but addicting Combat and Excavating system.

That and Darkstalkers.

I'm not too sure...Maybe TF2. Oh wait, games I like that aren't popular. I kinda like Maplestory, and that isn't usually referred to in high regards.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
brutal legend, I just finished it today, I got it a few days ago and it was fan fucken tastic but it seemed to get alot of... well not hate but "meh" from ppl, personally I really liked the stage battles tho it would have been nice if the game was a bit more focused instead of so open world, it probably would have done better on pc since they just work better for rts

Persona 3 and 4. Not so much that they're not appreciated as they're appreciated by a VERY small group of people (at least, out here).

Metal Arms.

great concept, cool voice acting, and awesome gameplay.

Also Geist, it had great gameplay, nicely varied levels, and some solid writing.

I don't get why Geist seems so barely noticed, it's Nintendo's second m-rated game next to Eternal Darkness, a game I haven't played yet.

I'd say Dynasty Warriors, but its more popular (even in the west) than people want to admit.
Psychonauts, and Mystical Ninja are two others.

Ehrgeiz, a 3D fighting game for the PSOne and maybe Arcade, I think. Thanks to the inclusion of Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Yuffi, Vincent and Red XIII (Django's alternate color), it gained a little traction as a "Final Fantasy fighting game", but outside that, it was pretty much disregarded as a gimmicky Tekken ripoff.

Even if you didn't dig the admittedly bizarre fighting engine, the minigames and RPG/Dungeon Crawler sub-game, "Brand New Quest", were worth the price of admission.

Dark Messiah: Might and Magic.

Yes it was cheesy! Yes it was cliche!

I love the gameplay too much to care!

Anyone who knows me will see this coming.

SURVIVAL CRISIS Z! if not that than ZOMBIE SMASHERS X2!

while you don't have to like it, if you CAN get it to work, than you by all means SHOULD.

both are zombie-themed RPGs made by james silva. (The Dishwasher: Dead samurai/Vampure Smile dev)

ZSX2 might be a bit too... ridiculous for some though.

(the internet doubles as a time machine in one part of the game.

I AM NOT JOKING.)

I totally agree with the spectrobes part. It's a decent game with a good battle system but not much talk about it.

Beyond Good and Evil? No one played that when it came out.
Also all the Silent Storm games, I'm including Hammer and Sickle in this but not Nightwatch.

Majesty: A Fantasy Kingdom Sim

And while I wouldn't say that I LOVE it, I feel like the only person on the planet who actually enjoyed "Rise of the Argonauts", however flawed I acknowledge it to be.

This, I loved that game.

Also, Godhand, the last game made by Clover Studios (I think). It's sort of like a homage to old side-scroller beat-em-ups, it's hard as hell, and incredibly wacky...incredibly incredibly wacky...

Castlevaina: Lament of Innocence
Final Fantasy X-2 (seriously, that game did not deserve the hate it got)
