Death to Spies. Copy of Hitman-series which takes player into second World War. Eventhough it's published by 1C I've never heard of anyone who'd play it. Despite the glitchy cutsecenes and clumsy controls it's good game that could've been nearly perfect with little polishing.

Avatar, the video game - The gameplay was single-button mashing combat and a poor storyline... But it was just the graphics and the enviroment which made me love it.

Mafia: City of Lost Heaven
Star Ocean: The Second Story
Europa Universalis II

I know... all of those were reasonably popular, but those are the only ones I can think of. Most of the games I have recieve either lots of praise or are extremely popular (Fallout 3, Total War games, CoD4, etc).

dark messiah? not really sure if it s really hated. It should be hated for having a story that bad. But the gameplay was awesome.

A little cutesy, but yes, one I love.

I can't admit to it though... because people then assume I also automatically love the Sims!

Harvester was a breath of fresh air in the FMV genre, a genre populated with less than quality titles during the 1990's.

Alas, despite it's controversy for the incredibly gruesome second half, not many people talk about it - or even know about it.
You mean the serial murderer training guide?

Yeah... I know it.

I enjoyed far cry 2 alot. It was a bit of of a love/hate relationship and I was not blind to its flaws and shortcomings. but it was so much more fun for me than GTA4, it was a proper shooter. not some boring simulation of the depressing life of some violent twat, with autoaim terribad combat. but a fun sandbox shooter.

Shadow Hearts. It's a jrpg that came out a week before FFX and got completely ignored, but it one of the most fun, bizarre, interesting games I've ever played, and the dollhouse sections was eery as hell. One of my favourite parts was that
you fail and you fail hard. Much like FFVI, the bad guys plot works and boom, there goes that city you liked so much.

That, and the main character wasn't a whiny, teenaged emo brat. Thank god.

Why do I care said:
Would it seemed weird if i'm the only person in the world who likes Zelda 2?
Not at all, because Zelda II was actually fairly decent when compared to a number of other NES titles.

It didn't stack up to the original or anything, but what could?
