Hmm... A list:
Pokemon fans: How vile. The fanbase ALWAYS erupts into arguments about which generation is best, rather than just letting each one stand up on its own merits. God help you if you say any generation is better than the first. Of course, when a new generation pops up, you immediately have people raging over the designs of the new Pokemon and characters. Then of course, there's the whole Pokemon vs Digimon thing, each side stating that the other is a ripoff and what not. Again, can't they be good franchises on their own merits, rather than by how similar they are?
Warcraft, especially WoW: Hardcore vs casual. Not much more has to be said than that. Oh wait, similar to the above, there will be raging anytime a new expansion pack comes out. Evidently, nothing is better than the first.
Portal: It's been stated already. Repeating jokes that were funny 5 years ago.
League of Legends: Never satisfied with ANYTHING. European servers crash and Riot gives them free RP? North American players rage about how they deserve free RP, despite not having any server issues at all.
Sonic: I'll admit I'm not much of a Sonic fan, although I thought Sonic Colors was great. The fanbase disturbs me. Not the average people, the fanatically devoted fans that make Sonic/Shadow yaoi are the ones that disturb me.

Kiba's akamaru is like laggy or something so his ninjutsu cuts yours. Also deidara,temari, sasori (awakening), Then there is Jiraiya, OReochimaru and Pain with their unescapable combos which noobs use EVERY time.
Horde players tend to be absolute douchebags, and Pokemon fans can scare the shit outta me with the stuff they're in to.
Mostly Halo for me. Halo seems to have built a reputation for having a huge online fan base of whining 14 year olds and I don't like to be associated with that aspect.
I hate multiplayer, I'm in it for the story, setting and expanded universe outside the games themselves. I don't rush out to buy the latest Halo simply to pwn some n00bs. It's getting to the point where it's not worth even mentioning that I am a Halo fan.

There is just something that bugs me when ever they get on a subject they enjoy. Even if I am part of the fanbase they annoy me to no end.
Example: Me and another friend were randomly talking about video games we suddenly got on the subject of Sephiroth being "1337 Villain" and being "the best in the entire series".
Two things wrong with that most people know someone like sayyy....Kefka killed more than Sephiroth did (which I am not sure if that's accurate seeing as Sephiroth killed everyone in the ShinRa Building at the beginning of the game but w/e) and secondly. The series hasn't bloody ended so the Best in the Entire Series should have added "so far"

If you've spent 10 minute near anything Kingdom Hearts related we know exactly what you mean. Minus the games. But cut out the dialogue and you have a good game.Psycho-Toaster said:
