Discworld II: Missing Presumed: Great point and click that really captured Terry Pratchett's unique sense of humor.

Day of the Tentacle: Great storyline, great humor, great gameplay. A classic that I'll never forget.

Sam & Max: Same as DotT

Toonstruck as well! Absolutely fantastic story and surroundings. Totally surreal and amazingly fun! Adventure games absolutely rock.

I miss the Wing Commander Series, although their are rumors of a new release. Just played through WC3, Prophecy and Secret Ops. Was working on WC1 before my PSP broke.

I have a soft spot for series games such as Ninja Gaiden, Phantasy Star, and Suikoden, all of which have stories and plots that make me want to play them over and over again.

I'm recently playing through Xenogears again, and it's still as good as it was when I first played it. Love the plot.

Off the top of my head...

Warlords (Atari 2600) - With 4 players and those funky pong-like paddle controllers, this game was the ultimate party game of its time.

Sword of Vermilion (Genesis) - This game combined a lot of play styles; first-person with an overhead map, angled top-view monster encounters and town exploration, and side-view arcade boss fights.

Faxanadu (NES) - Though there's nothing really remarkable about this side-scrolling action RPG, I absolutely loved it. It's eerily similar to the Castlevania formula that we see today.

Quest for Glory I: So You Want To Be A Hero (DOS) - This RPG-adventure hybrid was the most satisfying for me out of that whole Sierra / Lucas Arts adventure era.

RBI Baseball : NES : Awesome game from childhood I still play on my modded XBOX
FFVII & Xenogears : PSX : First two RPG's probably ruined all others, nothing compares
Escape Velocity : MAC/PC : Definatly worth checking out if u've never played
FFXI : PS2 : First MMO experience wanna play every once in a while, but don't
Halo(Not 2 or 3) : XBOX : 16 Highschool friends in a basement, enough said
NBA Jam : SNES : Why hasn't this type of gameplay been added to newer games
Ken Griffey Jr, MLB : SNES : Totally awesome(from Seattle), actually put in players names
Starcraft : PC : Battle.net was awesome, I'm glad we had unlimited online
SOCOM : PS2 : First real online FPS I played, replaced Halo after graduation

Just a small list of the games that have shaped my gaming experiences

In my opinion a game such as Duck Hunt is an ideal of game design. It's easy to learn, challenging to master, presents itself in full with no delay or faltering, and has no needless complications involved that would get in the way of you and a fairly amusing round of shooting at ducks. I'll always like it for this, even though there are games that at moments outshine just how fun it is if only inconsistently.

Altered Beast. The game was so mediocre, but I absolutely love it.
The GBA's AB: Guardian of the Realms was an answered dream for me.

Back to the main subject, my fav games console was always the Sega Saturn. I owned it at its launch until it died about a year after Sega stopped making games for it.
Same for me I loved the Saturn, and almost everything made by sonic team at the time, Burning Rangers and NiGHTs still two of my fav games!

I think Croc (PS) is a really nostalgic game for me, cutsie graphics, 3D gameplay which was alll new and exciting at the time, neat story and awesome sound. I haven't played it scince 1997, but i like how I remember it!

Also I think FFVII (97 was a good year!) just because this game is the reason I decided to work in games!

The old DnD gold box games
Master of Magic.. god that game can suck away my life.
Dragon's Lair
Super Mario (all of 'em)
Legend of Zelda NES. (the 1st one... not that crappy side scrolling...THING... that should have been buried in the desert next to the copies of ET)
Megamania and Kaboom! on the 2600. --Yeah, I'm a grey beard..--

To be honest, I don't think there are any. If I love an old game, it's because it's good. That's not to say I won't get nostalgic and brush the dust off of a game now and then, it just means that I won't like the game any more than before.

Anyway, games I do feel a sense of nostalgia for:
-Duke Nukem 3D and Mechwarrior 2: These were some of the first PC games I really played, not counting Oregon Trail in like... 2nd grade at school.
-Fallout: first RPG I really liked, and it's still my favorite.
-Command & Conquer: Especially Red Alert. I seriously can't hear "Hell March" without a bit of a smile, as I recall playing Red Alert in my youth.
-Age of Empires: I honestly can't stand this game anymore, not with all the improvements in its sequels that make the interface seem agonizingly inefficient, but I do remember it fondly.
-Halo: Not all that old, either, however this is what got me back into console gaming. I remember playing through it on co-op with my brother, because it belonged to him. Good times!
-Deus Ex: While it's not that old, it's old enough to bring back fuzzy memories of how awesome it was the first time through, and discussions I had about it's message and themes.

There are also some older games I liked, but apparently not enough to remember what they were called.

I have my gaming pile next to the computer. Let's see...

Planescape: Torment
Beneath a Steel Sky
Fallout 2
Master of Orion 2
Baldur's Gate 1/2
Warcraft 3
Heroes of Might and Magic 3
Just add System Shock 2 to the list and it'll be complete for me, ... and maybe wing commander and eye of the beholder, they did get me started oh so many years ago.

The Lion King, for the sega genesis stands out in my mind. I really liked the movie as a kid, and that game did the film justice. It had all my favorite parts, and it was so damn hard that I think I probably only beat it once.
Also, mavis beacon teaches typing, and cross country canada(the original) will always remind me of my early school days, mainly because it was all I'd be doing in the computer lab when I was 7. Unless I was on my teachers computer, when I could try out full throttle. There's a deja vu bringer for sure.
