WoW, people don't shut up about me playing WoW. I may never hear the end of how I took 3 days off when Cataclysm came out so that I could get a head start on the endgame.
Some of my friends who understand gaming better hate that I continue to buy Dynasty Warriors games. It's just mindless they say, it's the same game every time, it's so innacurate that it hurts. All true, but that doesn't make it any less fun.
And all my friends hate that I play Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Yes it's Sonic, yes it's on the DS, that doesn't mean it can't be a great game.

I get a lot of 'hate' on the internet for liking first person shooters, especially my enjoying Halo and Call of Duty. And from the opposite side, I get mocked in real life for liking pokemon because it isn't hardcore(man I hate that term becoming synonymous with only playing fps games).
I once told the internet that I like Too Human. The next morning I found a dead fish on my doorstep. Also, my cat hasn't come home yet.
I still get shit for liking X-2. I don't care; I thought it was hilarious in how intentionally stupid it was. The gaming world could use more lighthearted, camp parodies instead of being so dark and serious all the time.

Everybody i speak to face-to-face hates them with a burning passion. They are always compared to the "Vastly Superior" WRPG (westerns).
I say each have their positives and negatives and its quite annoying on judging games you yourself have not even looked upon.

I still get crap about playing Pokemon from some of my mates but as soon as they get drunk someone chucks on a cover of the theme song and all sing along.
