Games you loved but people hated you for liking

I get hated on cause I liked Final Fantasy VIII, and Chrono Cross. I have no idea why I get hate for this...

I get hate for liking VIII as well. Sorry, FFVII wasn't that fantastic IMO.

But I get a lot of hate for being a Metal Gear fan, when a lot of my friends are into Splinter Cell games.

Same with me and my friends, they are splinter cell fans, but bash on MGS? Unbelievable.

Recently I've seen a lot of hate for Test Drive Unlimited 2, but I got it a couple of days ago and I really like it! Each to their own...

I have a friend who hates on me for Chrono Trigger. Chrono Trigger of all things?! I only take solace in the fact that his wife loves it like I do so any hate he brings on me about it, he gets stared down by his wife. It's almost worth the hate to see him get shut down.

My friends hated me for playing Starcraft, but that's not a problem with the game so much as it is because I used to be an asshole on Battle.net.

My housemate berates me for playing Minecraft, which he says

"Looks likes it was made in 1967".

He hasn't played it.

a couple of my friends to this day mock me for liking Kotor II, they go on and on about the bugs and the cuts but I love it, it is in fact in my top five games ever (so boll@cks to me mates!)
