Looking back at all the games I've played over the years there are like 50% that I gave up on or haven't completed. I guess that when I was younger I didn't have as much patience (or a walkthrough).

So I was wondering what the oldest game you have that you still haven't completed?

Mine is back on the PS1 (so not that old). Two of the first games I got Small Soldiers and Wild 9. Though I wouldn't say I'm stuck on Small Soldiers just stopped playing it for other games. Saying this I went back to both a few weeks ago and completed another level on each, probably no where near the end though.

So any old games you got stuck on or just abandoned? Also do you think you'll go back and complete them now you're older?

Grand Theft Auto 4. After a certain point the story just didn't seem to be going anywhere, and all the missions were of the "drive here, kill everyone, drive back" variety. I've tried multiple times and I just can't power through it.

Also, ONE on the ps1. Just too damn hard.

yeah I think I did the same tbh. It was about that time I started playing multiplayer more than stories on games

This. After the Irish brothers, I just got bored. It felt like Mexico from RDR but all the time. Still want to finish it, though.

True, I did what I usually do in GTA games and spent most of my time going on destructive rampage.

I quit after I tried to get him laid, I got him a hooker as I thought that might put a smile on his face he said "now I feel cheap" (or words to that effect) Screw you Niko, I'm supposed to be having fun playing this sodding game, now I just feel depressed!

I never finished Banjo-Kazooie because my little brother accidently deleted my save. And then he went on to finish it himself - the nerve of some people!

Call of Duty 3, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, all Rockstar games aside Red Dead Redemption, and quite a few others.

I never finished command and conquer 3 tiberium wars. i love the game but i only love it because of the multy player. any how i ended up watching all of the cut scenes on you tube. :p i guess i like the story more then the single player campaign.

i did the same for command and conquer 4 im not going to lie that was the worst game i ever bought they ruined it.

Final Fantasy XIII. I played through the tutorial sequence and that's about it.

Less intentionally, I've never been able to finish Starcraft, as it refuses to allow me past a certain mission, despite all the different ways I've tried to fix it.

I was un-able to finish Deadly Premonition, GTA IV, Oblivion

Deadly Premonition because I just plainly despise that game, after playing for an hour, I should have at least some idea of what the fuck is happening. But, no I was still walking around in a forest that looked like it was pulled from an N64 game (Seriously, WHY did that game look so bad?) and shooting bland enemies who take 6 steps at me, then teleport away somewhere.

Grand Theft Auto IV Basically the story just got dry and boring for me, but I still love that game no matter what people say about its driving controls, I actually prefer them to other games' driving schemes.

Oblivion I just got burnt out on the story after doing every Guild quest fully. Still wish that archery in that game did dick later on in the game.
