I bought a Madden '05 game once, and I haven't touched it in years. I want to sell it, but I can't because any video game store is too stocked full of the games that they won't take any more.

There's a lot of games in my library that I don't play as much any more that I guess you could say are in this "no-desire-to-play" category.

Enchanted arms because it is the worst kind of JRPG nonsense with tedious gameplay, ridiculously stock characters and a story that's so boring and uninteresting that almost makes me weep.

Borderlands. Because it's the kind of game that sucks to play solo.

Lego batman. Take a guess as to why.

Brütal Legend. Played it once, that was enough.

Well none for the reasons you said but I do have games I never intend to play.

Shadowgrounds, I had never intended to play it. I got it because it was in a pack with Trine and it was cheaper to buy that than Trine on its own.

Dungeon siege 2, I got it because it came with Dungeon Siege 3 (which isn't brilliant but worth what I paid for it). I'd already played 1 years ago.

Overlord 2 because I got about 3 quarters of the way through ht first one before I gave up on trying to make it fun and the humour isn't really my type for the most part.

Divinity 2 is just really boring and even the promise of eventually being able to play as a dragon wasn't enough to keep me going.

Hydrophobia prophecy, I was kind of curious about it and I got it for a dollar. Ran into 3 major glitches in the first hour of play and even when it was working the game play was still bad.

Spellforce 2 is just all around terrible

All of these where bought extremely cheap so I don?t care. I don?t generally have this problem with the more expensive games because I tend to research them first so know if I?m going to like them or not.

Primal for the ps2. Picked it up some years back on the cheap but never decided to play it for some reason.
that one is a really good game, you should get around to it at some point, i bought it cheap and love it to bits.

for me it is Resident Evil 4, Rage, the Professor Layton games (which i can't trade in because they don't have the Australian games rating on them due to being a UK import) and Battlefield 3.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot Quake 3 and Magicka

I actually started playing it after work last night and I just completed Solum. I get lost a lot but other than that its fun! I am stuck on Undine now.... damn fish queen keeps dying before I can figure out how to save her :/

ah, i can help you there, the solution will be in the spoiler tags
As Jen, swim north, you'll see a trench, there is a glowing summoning stone, pull scree out of it and take control of him and pick up the nearby lodestone, return control to Jen and swim further north until you find the entrance that connects to the Dam lagoon, go through it and look for another summoning stone and pull scree through it, take control of scree and pickup the lodestone on the right side of the dam. at the base of the dam, possess the fish head statue, open the mouth and then retake control of Jen, turn the switch inside the statue to save Aino.
hope this helps if you decide to use it

I have a load of crap that came in with some bundles on Steam. A short list would be,

Virtua Tennis 2009
Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

There are probably a few more, stuff I wouldn't even play let alone buy. Thats one of the problem with the bundles on Steam.

Trapped Dead - a strategy survival rpg-y zombie game, sounds like lots of fun and is fun to play, but it's bugged up the butt and lags a lot.

Thief collect - bought it on a Steam sale, I'll play them...Eventually. Maybe.

Saint's Row 2 PC version - bought it, doesn't run properly, bought it again on PSN. Was fun.

Red Faction: Guerrilla - I own the original Red Faction on the PS2 (was the first game we owned on it), I'll get around to play it...Eventually.

I got Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War in the THQ humble Bundle, and I don't really have any desire to play it. That may not stop me from trying it down the road though.

Bioshock 1 & 2, Gothic 1, 2, and 3, Left 4 Dead 1, 2, and several indie games from steam. Many great games I'm sure, just have no interest in playing.

Red Dead Redemption, boring game, can't stand the main character, uninteresting and tedious game play. Mass Effect, also extremely boring and not interested in the characters or story. Demon's Souls, tedious to the extreme, clunky controls are not a way to make a game "hard" or "challenging" , I don't understand the hype it gets, or why people can play games with a paper thin "story" I use that term loosely, it is the reason I will never touch Dark Souls, no matter how much it is discounted on Steam. Bayonetta, just can't get into it.

Child of Eden.

I bought it because I was familiar with the music, but it's really not the kind of game I'd just sit there and play. It's pretty but it's not my cup of tea. I just wanted it.

Lone Survivor, Eve, Cypher... I just can't do it, the whole Mac (or PC) laying thing makes me bored, and those games are cool, but not spectacular as most people say...

Kane & Lynch is worth your (free) time, if only to give it a try, specially since it was "for free". It got a lot of crap from critics, and rightfully so, it was advertised as something way different than what was delivered, if you're a fan of Michael Mann, try it out ;) Obviously, don't expect too much either.

From the reviews and some of the lets play vids I have not got much motivation to try it, there are a lot of other games in my Steam backlog I would rather play first.

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, they screwed up my save file (PC) and can't fix it.
Hint, after beating the boss before the ice world, don't backtrack, which is stupid I know.
