Do you own any games you don't want to play, games you bought because you want to support the developers or publishers? Games you bought so you could keep your ironic hipster status?

Viking, Battle for Asgard.

I Got it in the Steam Autumn sale in the Total War collection (why the hell it came in the Total War collection I have no idea) but I have zero interest in it.

Bastion, it's got a compelling soundtrack and a great narrative storyline. But the game play is so samey and dull it just makes me weep tears of boredom.

None for hipster reasons, but there's some games I never play nor have I ever attempted do so so and yet I bought them because...

NEED A CO-OP OPTION (these are mostly sports, racing and fighting games)

THE SAKE OF VARIETY (stealth games and a few RTS. Hardly touch 'em)

CULT CLASSIC STATUS (some RPGs like Suikoden or Shadow Hearts which I grew weary of before I got to play through them... in fact if anyone has played through I would appreciate a word of motivation, if you please?)

Because it's made by the same developer I imagine. You should give it a try it's actually pretty decent if you like hack n' slash games

OT: Alone in the Dark(2008)

Picked it up during the XBLA Games on Demand sale a while back.Still not sure why I bought it as I'm not a fan of horror games and the reviews I've seen have been "meh" at best

Some of my Steam games like Amnesia and a few PSN games I have like Final Fantasy V and VI. I should but I'm playing other games that I'm honesly enjoying a lot. Another one is from XBLA: Soul Calibur. I have no idea why I even got the game since I don't even like fighting games.

This.
I picked it up at a bargain because I like Atlus and it seemed to have elements of a Shin Megami Tensei game.
I honestly can't tell you if it's a good game or not considering I never took the shrink wrap off of it.

Edit: I guess it got a Wii port.... interesting.

Rise of the Robots for the old rather obscure console the Amiga CD32.

I got it free with my CD-32. The game is absolutely garbage, and it's even more garbage with the controller the CD-32 comes with.

I played it for around three minutes tops, and even that was too much for me, so now it goes into purgatory until i can sell it to a retro games shop.

I just found that plain not fun. Also I was really sick of the anime/jrpg cliches.

On topic: I've got a bag full of PS2 games that I don't intend to play. So far, since unpacking my ps2, I've only played Resident Evil 3.

I own the original XCOM games on Steam, they were on sale (as is the norm on Steam, there must be a sale going on at all times or the universe will collapse) but I have no desire in playing any other except UFO Defense because I played it when I was young. And Terror from the Deep, because underwater + scary monsters seems like a perfect way to challenge myself.

Guild Wars 2.

After everyone hyped it for me since the initial release and I had been itching for a good MMO experience for the past decade, I decided to give it a go. Turns out... I am completely neutral about it. I don't like it, I don't hate it. I feel like for the first time in a while, I own a game I have absolutely nothing to say about. Nothing.

The Devil May Cry HD collection kinda falls into this category. I've put about 150 hours into DMC3 but less than half an hour combined into the other two. I've just...played them too much on the original console. Main reason I bought the HD collection is because...no, I won't turn this into that.

Also bought Dishonored, I'm about halfway through it I think?

I've been betrayed and all that and just knocked out (didn't kill) the other assassin-powery dude.

Uhh, a couple.

I remember getting Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume a few years back on the advice of a friend, but I've never really wanted to try it. I got given Wave Racer: Blue Storm with my GameCube as well, which I've never cared for either. I've also got Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2 on PS2, but aside from a cursory one-time trial of each I've never been too fussed about them. I kind of got them to complete my collection really, especially after enjoying Devil May Cry 3 so much.

I've got a few from various Indie Bundles as well. I buy most of the Bundles because it's a decent way to support charities and indie devs, but I definitely don't always want the games. For example, Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Botanicula, Cogs, Depths of Peril, Fieldrunners, Gratuitous Space Battles, Harvest: Massive Encounter, Machinarium, Oil Rush, Samorost 2, The Ship, Space Pirates and Zombies, SpaceChem, Spirits, Unstoppable Gorg, Uplink, Vessel, The Void, Windosill, Wizorb and Zen Bound 2 are all stuff I've got from Bundles but I'm not too fussed about playing.

I bought Tales of Abyss and Paper Mario Sticker Star for my 3DS a month back.

...I still haven't played either of them more than once. Will probably get to them eventually though.

A few games that either came in a bundle (tf2, half-life) (dont kill me), or i got as a gift (demigod..?). I'm just not great with first person shooters, and demigod just confused the heck out of me.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Revelations. Bought them, never played them and I don't see that really changing.

Got a lot of games in packages (eg humblebundle, GOG sales, etc) that I have no interest in playing that were just part of the package... which means I have game codes to give away some time...

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for 360, Civilization 5, Empire and Napoleon Total War...
I bought all of those games with the intention of playing them, but as time wore on I became less and less interested in them.
