I got Final Fantasy XIII a while ago because I'd never played a JRPG before and I absolutely hated every second of it. Do any of you have a game that you honestly couldn't find any good points whatsoever in?

Robin hood: protector of the crown, my friend got it for me as a joke, the game cheats, the battles are literally two modles bumping with no strategy involved, the swordfights are clunky, the archery feels like your trowing arrows for all its worth, the jousting is like being stoned and on steroids at the same time, and the sieging is redundant

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. There was not much of a tutorial, leading me to scrolling through the list of commands and YOU CANNOT SAVE. Ever. There are only auto-checkpoints, meaning if you drove all the way across the map and then get sniped by some guy you never saw, TOO BAD, now you have to do it all over again.

INB4FIANLLFANTASYXIII, oh wait, that's the second reply, of course. Seriously, haters gonna hate, that was a good game, at least in my opinion.

OT: Fable 3. "Oh, hey, you're going to have to be a bastard king if you want to save all your people easily. But if you don't want to be a bastard, you have to accumulate a fortune's worth of money in a certain time limit. Have fun."

No. I just stopped playing at this point.

this might seem like I am being a dick but its Halo 3 for me. I could see good points in it but I just really hated it and couldnt bring myself to continue playing after a few hours not many others I really hated but plenty I have disliked, Last Remnant also comes close cant believe I wasted so much time on that piece of crap hoping it magically got better so got onto disc 2 and it got even worse (somehow) and had no redeeming features in sight so I quit.

None, there are games which I didn't get into but there aren't any that I actually 'hated'.

The ones I just didn't get into are..

Fallout 3
Oblivion
Any MMO

Also, I'd like to add that don't give up on JRPGs because of FF XIII. It's just one example, one VERY bad example of what the genre has to offer. If you get the chance to play another JRPG then take it because they aren't all like that. In fact, most people I see that like JRPGs don't like FF XIII. Try and play ones like Persona 3 and 4, even Final Fantasy VII and VIII or maybe you might like XII. If you have a PS3, I'd recommend trying Valkyria Chronicles as well. There are many more as well and they can be very different from each other.

Hmm... the only game I can remember hating, as in truly, deeply despising... is the PS1 game Barbie: Explorer. I had to play it because I have a little sister, and at the time she was too young to effectively play it herself, but not too young to force me into playing it. It's just... it's just not a memory I want to relive.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, ported to the PC.

It was the first game I ever bought on Steam, since it was on sale for $5. It was awful. The controls were intentionally laggy for some dumb reason, the keyboard controls were not explained at all (it told the Xbox 360 controls extensively, though!), the multiplayer wasn't fun at all, and you know what? The game itself just wasn't enjoyable in any way. It was sluggish, boring, repetitive, and frustrating, and I completely regret buying it.

INB4 A game I like is mentioned and I cry
Rainbow 6. It was a good premise, planning out your squads, organising a method of attack, I spent about an hour sorting through all this and planning what I felt would be a good means of attack [I skipped the tutorial, it just makes me hate games more]. After that precious hour, one squad stands still, another runs around the corner and is instantly blown to pieces.

I uninstalled it after that.

Also Duke Nukem Forever, I really wanted to like it, and I love dick jokes, but even they couldn't hold it up [forgive the pun]

Operation Flashpoint: Red River. easily the worst game i have played in my 22 years alive. not only is it ugly, but the voice actors sound awful, the controls are unbelievably stiff and both team and enemy AI are worthless. good thing i work at gamestop, and can borrow before i buy because i couldn't sit through 20 minutes of gameplay without taking it out of my 360.

This game is the worst game I've ever played. On top of that. I HATE IT.

I should also mention uncharted, not for what it has (Shiny graphics), but for what it represents (A dead end, just another shooter out being famous only for the graphics)

Modern Warfare 2. The whole look of the game made me hate it. The guns, the strawberry jam on the camera, the fact that everyone (especially my roomate) played it 24-7 at the time, the storyline was ridiculous (I KNOW some people on this site liked it because I once saw in in a thread titled "Best Storyline's Ever" *vomits*), your characters dying over and over again stopped mattering to me so much to the point that I did not even bother to learn their names. I hated that almost all of the cover could be shot through and that enemies were all around you.

In conclusion, MW2 is one of the worst games I've played since my early days as a gamer when I believed that video games based off of movies were good.

That game was pretty shitty alright. I hated how you had to keep killing or run out of heat and die.

Turok the 2008 one, I hated that piece of gaming shit.

I loved the Turok series, even the third one, and I was super excited that they were going to bring it back. It was just terrible and everything about that game made me hate it.

Uncharted 2 as it won people over with generic characters and graphics, missing out gameplay and everything else on the way.
Some what ironic I guess that I consider Crysis an amazing game (For the ignorant console gamer who thinks crysis is all about graphics)

I feel your pain. I bought it expecting something amazing based on the trailers, but I was greeted with a combat system with nothing to offer except pressing A.
