Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. Got it as a bundle with my wii ages ago and it was the most contrived, pointless arduous experience; an incredibly lacklustre game vainly attempting to masquerade as something epic. Bad and very, very temperamental controls, horrible story (some weird dragon Lord of the Rings knockoff), repetitive combat, lack of interesting puzzles, and just on the whole incredibly boring.
Oh and seriously, bloom lighting does not mean your graphics will suddenly look good Activision. So Fucking stop using it. 0_0
Honestly you don't know how ridiculous it looked.

....

Good music though.

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean

I used to merely dislike it, but after playing it through to the end (a gruelling forty-something hours, I'd guess), I hate it with the burning intensity of a thousand suns.

The only reason I even played through it in the first place was because I have a compulsory need to play through all games I own at least once. Now I look at my collection of games and it looks unclean because Baten Kaitos is among them, mocking me.

More like a cheap knock off the clasic Spyro games.

The whole "Legend of Spyro" series is basically just other game developers taking the Spyro universe and doing whatever they hell they want with it. The characters are so different that they might as well just change their names.

Gears of War both 1 & 2.

Boring, repetitive gameplay. Grey. Unlikable characters. Zero story.

Fable 3. For a start, why didn't my character simply explain that a giant monster was coming to eat them if he didn't act like a bastard? That would have shut everyone else up, and his husband wouldn't have left him.

Free2Play MMOFPS called Combat Arms. Everything about that game is absolutely horrific, the sounds, the controls, the graphics, UI, playerbase, the hitting system which was absolutely goddam random and the fact that if you didn't spend loads of real money on ingame items then you had no chance in the competitive scene.

I got Final Fantasy XIII a while ago because I'd never played a JRPG before and I absolutely hated every second of it. Do any of you have a game that you honestly couldn't find any good points whatsoever in?
Dude your first jrpg was FF13? That was a game for the fans , your doing it wrong .

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. No, I'm serious. I would love it if it was a sandbox game. I mean, SD felt so restrictive but with it's plot, it could've been the best sandbox Spider-Man game since "Ultimate Spider-Man". Also, if they do make a sandbox Spider-Man game, give the development to Sucker Punch. Their Spider-Man game would be the best. Also, Every COD games I've played (4, MW2, Black Ops) seriously, it had three strikes, it's out. Fuck those games.

Mass Effect. The combat is complete crap, all the missions are boring and repetitive (side missions doubly so), the pargon/renegade system eliminates any meaningful decision making, none of the characters were particularly interesting (especially Shepard), and the story could not make up for any of this.

I would probably be indifferent of the game if I hadn't played through nearly the whole game with the expectation that it would get better.

Oh, so many...

Star Ocean 3 - Once I got prompted to save after a boring 25-minute cutscene, only to launch ANOTHER FSCKING CUTSCENE, I was done.

Final Fantasy X-2 - The game that made sure I never played another Final Fantasy game (ports of FF I-VI excepted)

Metroid: Fusion/Metroid: Other M - If you're led around by the nose through the whole game, it's NOT A GODDAMN METROID GAME, even if you play Samus Aran.

Zelda: Wind Waker/Phantom hourglass - The damn SAILING (and the lousy controls in PH)

Bullet Witch - I thought it would be like Bayonetta, and it sort of was, but with lots more suck.

Dragon Age Origins - Lousy companion AI and an MC Escher difficulty curve = No, thank you.

I couldn't stand Duke Nukem Forever. It wasn't fun at all. Which is weird because I liked 3D, and I'm a product of the 2000s.

CoD just because of the jam on the camera effect. Fucking stupid, when shot you jerk around and the screen turns red. This means you can't hit or see what is killing you. one of the most idiotic game mechanics I've ever seen.

FIFA 11, only when the ref is clearly siding with the AI and when the AI does the same stupid 360 circle so you can't tackle them. The transfers suck too, you can't loan anyone thats "recently moved" (read: transfered/ loan within a year". That doesn't make any sense. Start making sense game, START MAKING SENSE!

The latest Call of Juarez. No specific reason.

Fallout 3. I don't have any reason to hate it either. When I watch someone playing it I'm totally hooked but when I try to play it myself it just eats away at my sanity and boredom threshold like a hive of cartoon termites.

I'm surprised noone has mentioned Pokemon: Channel yet. It's a game based around WATCHING TV!! There's absolutely nothing worse than that. I guess the collective memory forgot about it because of how bad it was and I'm unfortunate enough to have remembered it.
