I was actually really lucky. I'd been wanting Suikoden 2 for a really long time and I actually got a copy a few years back. Pretty cheap too, considering how much it goes for now.
I actually randomly bought 2 "rare" PSX games on a whim back in the day; the English Localization of Suikoden 2 being one of them (props if you can guess the other).
My copy is still in excellent condition, with the original case.
I've been meaning to play through it again...hmm.
On Topic: Armored Core: Project Phantasma
Ignore the single player campaign; the arena is where its at. This is the point in the series where the gameplay was most unbalanced...but fun.
So much nerfing occurred in the following entry (Master of Arena; which could also qualify for this topic) that it kind of sucked the fun out.
I accidentally bought Project Phantasma first while looking for the original back in the day, but my disc suffered a hairline fracture at one point (I nearly strangled the guy...almost wish I had now) and have been unable to play it since.
Copies of the game are exceedingly hard to find; my friend tried to order one for me as a birthday gift, but the source sent him a copy of the original Armored Core instead (either mistakenly or dishonestly. I'm unsure which).
EDIT:

Tombi!(or Tomba!) for the PS1 loved that game as a child and now its £80 because its ultra-rare X_X
And to think that I bought one, years ago, for about 9 bucks, not even knowing if it was any good... How lucky can I be?
Seriously? Tomba is ultra-rare now?
I guess that makes 3 rare PSX titles I stumbled across and bought on a whim.
Would have thought there would be more of them considering the original had the best demo ever, and was widely distributed.
