Battlefield 3 just made the list. I'm kind of sad as I was looking forward to it and squealed with joy when I heard the first confirmation but EA (not only with BF3) has continuously betrayed their "vision" of advancing the medium.

Almost EVERY strategy game that doesn't allow for tactics, one is, apparently Company Of Heroes, when its less about resource management and pure luck, then you made your game wrong. Hell, if I have 1,000,000 resource, then I should be able to use all of it on what I please, not on ONE FUCKING UNIT EVERY CENTURY!

they are the most sellout 'games' i have ever hd the displeasure of being introduced to.
i would rather hit my head repetitively against the nearest hard surface than hear one more snide comment about your bloody level up, ffs lol

World of Warcraft. If I hate it it's a waste of time and money, and if I like it its a waaaaaay bigger waste of time and money.

I refuse to buy anything by capcom, because no matter what they'll always release a new version of it within 6 months, and never patch or fix any problems with the previous version. It's like they think it's still 1985 and they're making arcade cabinets.

I refuse to play Final Fantasy XII and XIII. They're crap on opposite ends of the crap spectrum.

Shadow Complex, I just can't bring myself to spend any money on something with Orson Scott Card's involvement. Maybe I'd get a used copy, if it wasn't a digital only game...

Wait wait wait , wouldn't that make 1 game good? Or if the spectrum is made of crap then one if very crap and the other not so crap?

I have loads of games I know I won't like,Yet I will always buy them then complain that they are pants :(

I don't buy dlc unless or my friends do (therefore I would need It to play) Or It's an actual decently sized expansion.

I'm kind of going off sports games because the changes are so minute but when everyone you know buys them It's hard not to I guess.

So I guess no there isn't.

I don't really feel like I have added much to this conversation tbh.

I refuse to play most MMOs since I find them to be full of damn annoying grinding. I am also afraid I may fall into their trap and become addicted.
Also horror games since they scare the crap out of me way too much(Although I have played dead space but that isn't a horror game).

And of course MW3. I bought most of the Call of duty games up untill now but I refuse to buy any more since they are all the same.

I have boycotted... UbiSoft games, EA games, and Activision games.
That's like half of the industry gone. What the hell could've screwed up your opinion of those three major publishers so much? And who in their right mind stops buying such a large chunk of games from our industry because of the publishers?

Movie tie-ins, JRPGs and sports games; movie tie-ins are horrible, cash-grabs which have awful controls, usually sub-standard graphics and really repetitive gameplay; I've played a few JRPGs and I hated all of them; I found them too linear and hated the either smug or whiny characters; sports games are... well... I think I'd rather go and play the sport really.

JRPGs and MMORPGs because they play boredom concentrated to dangerous levels.

Basically, anything that focuses on its multiplayer to the point where the 'campaign' gets neglected. I liked Starcraft 2 for its campaign a lot more than its multiplayer, partly because you can't turn real people down to easy mode (inb4 bunnies*), and Modern Warfare (1) sold me on its campaign as well, but I'm avoiding all the other Call of Duty games, Homefront and Brink (and Halo, Gears and Resistance aren't for PC).

Also, From Dust for having a bad port, No More Heroes because I just don't like gratuitous swearing in games, Bioshock 2 was a cash-in sequel according to most of the critics I care about, and most WRPGs because I really just don't like them. Unlike everyone else on the entire English-speaking Internet, I grew up around Pokemon rather than Morrowind. Most 'casual' games don't appeal to me as much as they used to, either, but Plants vs. Zombies is good for anyone else in that situation.

If you get that reference, you are as weird as I am, and that's probably not a good thing...

I refuse to even touch anything from the JRPG genre. I just cannot stand the mechanics. I'll stick to good ole' WRPG titles like The Witcher 2 thanks ^_^

I don't refuse to play games, some games just don't interest me enough to waste my time on them. Sports games, driving games, Blizzard games(i did play and like D2), FPSs, Red alerts and CCs, action hack and slashes, gimmick games, etc.
