Brink, maybe, at least until PSN come back up. Killing bots is fun but I want to hunt the most dangerous game...

Stronghold 2- I don't appreciate when a game's difficulty curve punches me in the face the moment I step outside the tutorial.

Final Fantasy 12- It has everything an MMORPG has, except a group of guildmates to help stave off boredom as you grind out a few more levels.

And that's it. I'm so glad I only truly regret buying two games in my lifetime.

Spore - Yeah I knew it was bad going in. I just couldn't stop myself.
Disciples I and II - Just not fun for me. I still have friends that swear by it.
Civ 4 - I really don't understand the hype for those games.

Ruff trigger:the vancore conspiracy- Never heard of it? I'm not surprised. I bought it used for $3, took it home, and discovered it was a poorly made Ratchet and clank clone that could just barely be considered similar to R&C.

DA:O and Fallout both suffer from the same kinds of issues I think. They're slow, clunky, and just not much fun if you aren't into exploration.

Burst Limit and Black Ops are just horrible games in general.

Halo Wars had potential to be fun, but the central hub base design idea is just bad, and it had a lot of balance issues. *cough* Warthog rush *cough*
Man, I don't get many posts like this where I can disagree with almost every point, but I can.

Because I love fallout 3 to bits, and I can't seem to muster the energy to finish DA:O, and I love exploring.

Black ops is well polished in single player on regular, which for some reason everyone ignored.

Halo wars? Nobody realised there was a lock down base option that let you build up a load of units and release them at the same time. I didn't know about it until some guy countered my rush with it.

But, enough of this, on topic!

VIKING

What the hell. This game looked so awesome and was so terribly, terribly bad. How can you muck up VIKINGS. Seriously?

Shadow the Hedgehog(most Sonic games are rather rare here, so when I found this, I felt like trying it out. It was hideously frustrating though and I regret spending money on it.)

Heroes of Might & Magic IV(loved Heroes III, but something felt just wrong about IV...)

Fable 2(was REALLY excited for this, so much so that when my bro got an Xbox, this was the first game we bought. It was fun at first...then I pretty much realized that there's hardly ANYTHING to do in this game.)

All I can think of right now.

Splinter Cell: Conviction - Double Agent was a bad Splinter Cell game; Conv. couldn't even reach that high

the Commandos games on Steam. Awesome back in the day, unplayable on anything larger than a pocket calculator

R.U.S.E. I found it kinda tedious and boring, personally. In the end I traded it in for more than I payed for it, o that was pretty cool I guess.

really not that many, even some disappointing games haven't been bad enough to make me regret them completely. I usually research games a fair bit before buying them though

Oblivion - loved Morrowind so I had high hopes, but just got so bored so fast

GTA 2 - an old one, bought it when it first came out as I'd enjoyed GTA1 and London but 2 just fell flat. GTA3 of course brought the franchise back to life with a bang

I'd probably include Dragon Age 2 if it had been for the RRP, but fortunately I got it for about £25 and the game's fairly decent so I don't feel like I paid too much. I suspect the DLC will be another story though, or would if I bought it at least, I probably won't. to be fair a couple of Origins DLCs didn't feel worth the cost either (Return to Ostagar and Golems)

Fallout New Vegas And Red Dead Redemption. I love rpgs, but those were boring as hell. Give me Oblivion, or any other feudal-fantasy based game over those any day!

Dragon Age Origins (360) - It looked ugly, the game plays like the controls weren't meant to be optimized for the controller and the game feels like something is missing.

Far Cry 2 - Everything looks like it was dusted with cocoa powder, the storyline sucked and every gun performs horribly unless you get rich enough to get the guns clean and have the gun barrels properly rifled.

Fallout: New Vegas (360) - It crashes every other hour, performance get worse the longer I play and the text is unreadable on standard definition TV's. I'm gonna get the complete edition of the game on PC when all of the DLC becomes available.

Darksiders (PC) - Why the hell did I buy this game for the PC? It's a terrible 360 port, and the game was designed with the controller in mind.

Global Agenda - I hated the the game played, to an extent. After I stopped playing for a little while, a new patch comes up and renders the game unplayable or unpatchable for me.

Reach. I bought it because forgeworld looked cool, and it's a blast, and the campaign is good, except for the characters all being more irritating than masturbating with a cheese-grater. However, that's like 10 hours of fun max for me, and the multiplayer sucks. I can't play a game where half my kills are made mutuals by the crappy mechanics of the game. They also completely ruined the shotgun and the sword, my two favorite weapons. Now the only legit close range weapon is the hammer, which I hate. So, biggest waste of $60 I ever put into a game, sooo angry that I bought it.
EDIT: I am(or maybe was) a halo fanboy.

I'm usually really cheap when it comes to buying games so if I buy something for full price, I know it's something I'm going to enjoy. Otherwise, I'll wait for a massive price drop and then even if I don't like the game I can't call myself too disappointed thanks to the lower entry fee.

The one exception to this, however, was Fable 2. I was totally drawn in by the hype (not Molyneux's PR BS, but everyone elses) and after Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb (I usually find my own views very much in line with Sesslers) spoke so highly of it, I had to have it. Boy was I let down. Every single supposedly revolutionary thing it did had already been done better in other games. The only up side to the game was the graphics, but I couldn't even enjoy them as while I appreciated the technical aspect I thought the style was generally fugly.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl because of it's horrid design and the changes from Melee make it fucking terrible.

Even if I look at it from Zukhramms point of view which is what I usually do, the mistakes in Brawl are so obvious there is nothing to learn from it.

Zombie Apocalypse (PSN)

For $9.99 I thought I was in for a long treat of zombie slaying goodness. In a total of 55 levels with only a total of 7 maps things got extremely competitive really fast. A cheap final boss who I only beat due to continuous restarting from Game Over, nearly every zombie having 1 hit kill moves, and the worst reason. The dark gray/black color scheme for 7 Days Of Hell. Imagine 7 challenging levels in a singular non-changing map where you fight every kind of zombie in groups repeatedly. These rounds lasted from 30minutes to 1 hour on the last round each! That same looping soundtrack, and constant strafing made this very irritable.
I still platinumed at for all the trophies in order to have SOME reason of justifying the $10 wasted :(

Small A** map! For 45min of strafing and trapped rat-in-a-corner syndrome
