Dead Space

I played this game expecting to be scared and I wasn't. Being suprised is the closest I ever came to actually fealing any fear. The game controls well and looks great, it has some interesting concepts and is very fun, but it never scared me in the least. This may have something to do with the fact that it's very predictable. By the 5th time that a seemingly dead enemy jumps up and tries to kill you, your kind of expecting it. And it happens a lot.

this is gonna take me a minute to pin down, but id have to go with

The GTA series
any Final Fantasy past 7
The sims (i live a life, i dont need to simulate one in a game)
Army of two
Any Turok game
Doom 3
Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks and any "actual" Mortal Kombat past MK3 (jury is still out on MK vs DC)
The entirety of Halo something just doesnt click with me and halo.
Need for speed
Gran Turismo
The mistake that was the Wii (yes, the console and all games)

Wii: 3% great games
5% OK games
92% Horrible games.

I have to say, I agree with this entire list (except that I liked GTA 4, but that was the only one I liked.)

I only liked metal gear solid 1 and 4 which is way better than the rest. At least in mgs4, when you get caught, you don't have to put up with the same horrible shooting controls as the others. Probably the only game that ever exeeded my expectaitons.

Age of Conan, I really tried liking it, but it only lasted 1 month or so, too bad I had paid for a 3 month gamecard.

Got to agree with whoever said medieval total war over rome tw. Its not that im not interested in that time period because i am, but there was like 12 factions in M2TW and with all of them there was probably a grand total of4 different types of armies u cud have. Which meant it was literraly the SAME fights over and over again. Plus the battles, yeah they had fancy bloom and all but it was just a blur of grey, brown and grime that it all just lacked the spectacle of RTW, which i still play religeously lol

Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat (no one said it had to be recent)

Puzzle Quest. The concept of a Puzzle/RPG (well, if you still consider Match 3 games puzzles) was an interesting idea but I felt it bombed horribly. It was the only puzzle game that also somehow involved grinding.

Mass Effect. Everyone keeps telling me that game is amazing yet when I play it, I always get bored after 10 minutes. Same goes for Fable 2, had more fun playing the first.
