Sorry I did mean that there was no fun factor for myself. The action isn't really there and the characters don't sound as deep as you guys make it out to be. (Or maybe that's just because I haven't played enough)

Fallout New Vegas

It's strange because I really loved F3 and NV was suppose to be that but better story and gameplay. However I tried to play it - even starting up new games 3 times - but everytime I just stopped, whether it's the overwhelming amount of stuff to do, the bugs or anything else I can't do it. I get to when you meet the Yes-Bot and everything just crashes around me, I can't remember if I'm on the story or not and I can't go on.
Strange. I've got a 35 and several 20's and beat it twice and the only "breaking" bug I found was during Boone's quest; and it even had a hotfix.

What was so broken about NV for some people?
To be fair to the game it was more the vast amount of stuff to do that scared me. I only encountered a major bug when I got stuck climbing a hill and another minor bug when a faction I was nuetral with started attacking me but that probably wasn't even a bug just my bad gameplaying.

The original Fallout. The number of choices laid out before me were ingenious, but it was the option overlead (along with the slow-paced combat) that killed my motivation.

Mass Effect 2. I forced myself down and played it for two hours straight, and just cannot get into it. I mean honestly its a 3rd person action AND an RPG, two of my favourite genres, and I still don't get along with it. I think it was just the seemingly infinte amount of talking and need to talk I couldn't absorb.

I may give it another go once I get my funds in order and bag a cheap copy of the PS3 version but until then it's on my 'meh' pile.

Bioshock: the gameplay is just horrible. The atmosphere is fine, but everything else just sucks. I don't know what people are talking about when they say it had a better plot than the sequel. Both barely hold together with how incredibly loose the logic becomes.

Team Fortress 2: Why do all my weapons suck? What's that, I can unlock better ones through either random luck or getting achievements? I see, but both of those will take hundreds of hours, of which I will have to spend disadvanteged by limiting my options. Is there another way? Oh, paying obscene prices? More than twice the price of the game itself for all the extra equipment you say? I see, fuck you Valve.

Half-Life 2: The game got a free ride due to its technical achievements. Once other games did it and I could see through them to the game itself I found it very generic and mediocre. Plot was pretty good though, at least good enough that I like to know how it turns out!

Any old school CRPG: The combat system of click enemy, pray stats are higher, or if I'm really feeling like wracking my brain, spam abilities, take potions, repeat as necessary, is incredibly dull to me.

X3 Terran conflict. Or any of the X games for that matter. I love space games but I just can't get into the X series.
