Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, I still can't beat the final boss

The Final Boss is tricky. You know that you don't really need to beat it at first, right? You will get healed after so long you battle and not drain your resources.

Use powerful badges with many jumping abilities, perhaps some to ease your commands. Use power and defence boosters.

That's all I can give you, it's been a long time since I tackeled that game.

Portal
I vowed to beat portal before the second comes out but i'm stuck on, what i remember, level 20 were your on one side of a chasm with a whole crap load of sentries on panels and you need to do like a whole bunch of quick accurate stuff but now i've gone blank.

I spanked Portal twice in one day.

I think you mean the part after you were in a sewer. The walls opened up and behind every door is a turret. 'hello~?'

What you need to do is 'think with Portals'. Just shoot one where a turret is in fron of, then shoot the other end in a safe spot, grab the turret and do with it whatever you want. Repeat.

Zelda:Oracle of Seasons.

First game I ever played, and I still can't get past that damn 6th boss.

Could you please describe this Boss? I've beaten it recently because the Escapist forums told me how to defeat Twinrova.

Was it... a plant?

unless i give up a game because i don't like it (e.g. red dead redemption) i usually play a game to completion.

however, i never did beat daiblo in D2 (and i am just not a fan of the game either) and i could never beat the last guy in the first gears of war.

Ninja Gaiden - no shame, that game is frikin insane
PoP:TT - rented it, got to the last boss fight and then had to return it
POP:WW - rented it, got 3/4 thru the game, all my saves got corrupted, screamed with rage and never bothered to play thru the whole thing again.
There was also a really old game that can?t remember the name of that I remember not finishing purely because I couldn't find a DAM DOOR. Seriously I spent 2 days looking for that thing


I'm sure there are others but I don't give a shit about them.

There's a ton of games I haven't completed, generally because I just don't like them enough to keep playing.

Out of those I wish I would get around beating are Planescape: Torment (the setting is a bit too over the top for my liking and I'm not a big fan of the forced backstory on my protagonist, so I just lose interest a few hours in) and Metroid Prime 3 (I keep getting stuck at various boss fights, I'm really not that good with shooters).

Never beat Silicon Valley for the N64, there was this jungle level that I could never find out how to kill the parrot in. So frustrating.
