There's a load of old games I need to play, since I didn't really play PC games between 1996-2004, and during most of that period, the only console I had was a N64.
Old games I've bought recently because I need to play them:
Full Throttle: I loved all the old LucasArts adventures, as did my girlfriend. Neither of us had done this one, so I got this for us to do together. Awhhhh.
X-Wing Alliance: Got this yesterday, because I played X-Wing to death when it came out. Had a quick go already, seems like fun, although the graphics hurt my eyes.
Half-Life: Bought it on Steam last week, played through a couple of levels, got killed towards the end of a level, went to load the autosave... Oh, right, that's quite a new thing isn't it. Fiddlesticks. Will return to game once I've calmed down.
Games I need to buy:
Knights of the Old Republic I & II
Final Fantasy VII
Monkey Island III
Can't think of any more at the moment.
Oh, and root_of_all_evil, Starship Command? Nice. Let me know what rank you get up to. If you like BBC space games, did you ever try Cylon Attack? I once fell off my chair trying to dodge a Cylon that was coming right at me. And by coming right at me, I mean gradually getting larger on an old 12" Monochrome TV.
