I'm horrible at the first resident evils, and silent hill. I'm so used to being able to back up as I lay fire on my eneimes, or strafe around them, that being suddenly turned into a turret really screwed me up. That and the camera made it difficult for me.

Basebuilding games and MM like DOW and C&C. But I crush in Total war with cavalary shocks and moving around a cohesive force without skirmishing.

Pretty much all 3d one on one fighting games, I'm a SF2 nut, and from Tekken onwards, everything got way too complex with its 10 button combos, SF2 had style, with a set of about 5 special move motions spread thru all the characters, they built such a depth of gameplay.

I can't beat a blidfolded gibbon at anything like Soul Calibur and the like tho.

Also, stealth games, but that's because I don't class 'waiting' as a gameplay style, I just want to get on with it, not stare at a radar for 5 minutes til I'm 'allowed' to go, like some lollipop lady is ushering me across the road. *rantover*

I suck at American football, racing, DDR, and guitar hero rockbandish games.
I can't keep rhythm at all.

After Level 6 in Killzone Liberation I can barely finish a level without at least 15 deaths

Let's see here...
-Gears of War online, because it seems like every time I get some guy who rolls up to me and one-hit kills me with a shotgun.
-RTS multiplayer. My strategy usually consists of turning my base into an impenetrable doom fortress before so much as building an offensive unit, which unfortunately takes too long to stop any sort of rush tactics.
-COD 4. Because honestly, who wants to try to get good at a game where you can spawn only to have a grenade blow up in your face, and then have the kill-cam show you your killer tossing a grenade at the horizon? And to have it happen around ten times every game?
-Fighting games that require 15-button presses to be executed in simultaneous rapidity.
-Stealth games like MGS. I'll play them for the story, but each new area I get to generally revolves around me being caught 5 or so times and being forced to run away and hide for like 10 minutes each time.
-Flight Sims. Too many buttons.

It'd have to be puzzle games for me. There are underlying strategies that are always in play that I never grasp in time, if at all. If I ever do win, then it's either because I've had years of experience on the other player, or it was a happy accident somewhere between A and B.

Oh, and I'm only pretty mediocre at FPS games, unless I practice with them incessantly.

Also, text based and adventure games, although I was born in the wrong generation for those, so I'm largely unaffected.

Rts and racing games. When im playing any rts i usually start building my base and then when the enemy attacks, i get overwhelmed very quickly and start panacking and randomly click everywhere.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
If there was anything in the world that I can't understand, its SSBB.
"So, why are there all these guys in the same place?"
"Um, theres this competition or something."
"Okay why are they fighting?"
"To win the competition."
"What do they get if they win?"
"For ***** sake, I dont know!"
*silence*
"Whats the button to hit?"
At that point my friend throws the controller on the floor and walks off.
I dont play SSBB anymore.

Hmm, there's a sense of irony in the fact that I love FPS games, yet I suck on a great deal of them, I mean, I can get past any single player campaign on my own, on any difficulty easily, but put me in a game lobby with thirty thousand others, that's when I really start to suck.

That, and I suck at Team Deathmatch types, mainly because I'm not much of a team player...

Driving games, not like GTA or wipeout, I'm talking need for speed, grand turismo, pure driving games. I drive like an 80 year old church warden in a carpark! Funny as in burnout I'm like a drunk with a tank!
