The universe is made up of an unlimited number of planets that goes on for ever... for all you know what could actually be going on right now..... so HELLS TO THE YEAH.Korten12 said:I always wondered that. Are they in the same universe?Julianking93 said:Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank maybe?
That's a pretty long stretch since Portal constantly makes references to show that it is set in the Half-Life universe. So that theory might work if we assume that Apocalypse in Darksiders was basically the Combine, which even though I haven't played Darksiders I don't think that exactly fits with its story.ShatteredBlack said:Portal and Darksiders.
Aperture Science have created with the ASHPD a technology-based version of War's magic-based Viodwalker.
The events of Portal conclude slightly before the Apocalypse occurs.
What in particular is preventing the two games being set in the same universe?someboredguy said:That's a pretty long stretch since Portal constantly makes references to show that it is set in the Half-Life universe. Oh no you didn't... If GW gets a hint of this they will send out their lawyer bots to silence you... permanently.Jandau said:Warhammer and Warhammer 40k...![]()
This is more like Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Consider the likeliness that the future of the world of Elder Scrolls would look like Fallout 3's world. Modern Warfare 2 however is much less fantasy. Not to mention, the obvious connections based on their game engine and developer.SamFancyPants252 said:Modern Warfare 2 and Oblivion.
'cept Oblivion's set a few hundred years in the past.
Morally no war hasn't changed it's still just senceless killingWulfclaw said:What? No!sephiroth1991 said:War has changed

True, but if you ever ask someone who works at GW (or at least the several i've spoken too) they are all "Noooo, not connected lololol. Here, buy this model for £100!" Its why apparently, they got rid of the Squats in 40k.Sebenko said:There's plenty of stuff from 40K in warhammer.Jandau said:Sigmar was a Primarch...DC_Josh said:Oh no you didn't... Couple of years back there were some rules for Amazons. One of their magic weapons had effects and looks suspiciously similar to a power sword.
And I hear if you go up north far enough into the big chaos portal at the pole, you can catch glimpses of 40K spaceships and stuff.
From what I understand, GW never officially confirmed or denied that the two settings were connected. However, there are quite a few congruences between them. The Chaos Gods, the Orks, the Elves/Eldar, etc. It would fit quite nicely if the world of Warhammer was a planet somewhere in the 40k Galaxy.Sebenko said:There's plenty of stuff from 40K in warhammer.Jandau said:Sigmar was a Primarch...DC_Josh said:Oh no you didn't...
