Team Fortress 2. It's the one FPS game that I'm really skilled at.
Same here. The combination of distinct and easy to read battle situations, as well as damn good controls meant my practice actually payed off. I'm usually god awful at shooting games, but I loved that one, and stuck with it. Now when I play scout I'm a flying ball of death. :D

Oh, and F-zero Gx.
I finished that game completely, and even beat a few staff ghosts. I would have done more, but I'd spent a lot of time on it already. Now the master cup isn't even a challenge. There should have been a higher difficulty. Higher I say!

I tend to be above average at your average FPS and I have, from time to time, become a nearly unstoppable badass in a particular game (like Tribes). Given time to learn the systems and whatnot, I can compete at a reasonable level in RTS games (Currently, playing only random matchmaking, I am ranked TS 27 in Dawn of War 2 for example).

Me and my brother were brilliant at the original Rainbow Six (N64 one). We used to spend ages playing the elite difficulty level and working through the game so we could finish it flawlessly.

Then he stopped playing games... Damnit...

Basically my best memories of my brother playing that game with him.

Me and my cousin can finish L4D2 on expert with 2 bots. Does that make us good?

Sadly, I cannot think of anything. But I'm 265th in the world for the last mission of Comic Jumper. Does that count?

I am REALLY good at Mega Man, hence why it is my avatar. Actually, I'm awesome in most platormers. :D

I'm also good at RTS and FPS games. The only games I suck in are sport and stealth games. :-/

I think I kick ass at platformer's and just random games I play a little too much. I am awesome at Ratchet & Clank games and the Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus I'm just too awesome for words. And also Assassin's Creed :3

Super Smash Bros Melee, no-one I know has even come close to beating me at it, three of my friends even challenged me to a 3 on 1 match, and I still won without losing a life.
They never realised Captain Falcon is the best character ever, and his falcon punch is sacred in the ritual of kicking ass. :)

Star Fox 64. Full hard path on Expert mode. All medals on regular mode thus unlocking Foot mode in multiplayer.
High-five, man. I got all the medals on expert a few times, Titania and Sector Z being more difficult than they should have been...It's always a great feeling to get the warp in the Asteroid belt or to get the train station blown in Macbeth...But for a while I actually had the 3rd world record score in Area 6 for non-turbo controllers, and top 5 (as far as I know) with turbo controllers included. Was 707, but I know a couple people had 717 and 714. Just wanted to share with someone else who actually bothered to put more time and effort into SF64 than most did.

WORLD RECORD?! Holy crap dude! Congrats!

Also, i didn't know there WERE any turbo controllers for N64. I just played the heck out of it with my trusty gray standard controller. xD

I'm pretty sure i also managed to get all medals on expert mode to. (After pulling my hair out several times on Sector Z =P)

I'm no where near as good as i was back then. (About grade 6-7 when I owned a N64) It's sooooo embarrassing that i can barely get a medal on Corneria these days! xD

Nothing. Honestly, there's no genre of game I'm particularly "good" at.

On the other hand, there's a few I really suck at, notably fighting games and sim racers.

Anything that flies, I can master and push to its extreme endurance. And that, sir, is no idle boast.

Similarly, I seem to also be quite good at fleet-action combat games.

Video gaming aside, I can consider myself a pretty good 40K/Battlefleet Gothic player, averaging about 8 wins per 10 games, with my Imperial Guard/Imperial Navy. And Battletech. My friends called me Headhunter when we played, since I had uncanny luck when determining damage and usually ended up decapitating enemy mechs while doing little or no damage to the body.
