Counter Strike: Source.

I loved Counter Strike right up to 1.6, but I really despise Source for some reason.

Could it be because I'm shit at it...?

I didn't hate it but I really wanted to like the new Castlevania, but I just couldn't do it. Got to the Ice Titan boss and after that I just couldn't play anymore.

Quite honestly, I couldn't give a rats ass about the Halo series. Sure, it does present fun and interesting gameplay, - but I dont know - there is something about it that just doesn't click with me at all about the whole series.

Any Halo games...have played each and got too bored and frustrated about 3 hrs in. Another for sure because its about the only game I truly hated that I played the full way through was MW2. I really liked MW1, great story and pretty decent gameplay. But MW2 was $H!T in my opinion.

It was Oblivion some friend had given me a copy bc he "found" another one and I jsut couldnt get into it. It wasnt until I played and beat Fallout that I was able to approach Oblivion.

Two Worlds, and FF-8 they are literally the ONLY games I have ever completely and totally disliked, I mean I have more positive things to say about about the Halo games and I hate Halo.

Gears of War 2, Final Fantasy II, and Fallout 3. They were all boring games from the minute I picked the controller up to the time I put it down.

There are much more games that I tried to enjoy but just didn't happen to like it, but those are the games I have a strong distaste for.
Which Final Fantasy II did yo play? The one on the super NES or the NES? Because the NES version wasn't released outside of Japan. The Super NES version is actually Final Fantasy IV.

Fallout 3
Fable 1 or 2

In the above cases, I've started these games multiple times several months apart and simply get bored with them. I love similar games like Oblivion, DragonAge, KOTOR....but the above are bad for reasons I don't fully understand.

totally agree. its not that it's action part was bad, but to make it seem like "exploring the universe" they just made stages where you have to run 10 around to talk to one person, then 10 minutes to run back. incredibly frustrating.

Mass Effect.. blah. Boring, confusing and just plain meh. Plus it's awkward control didn't help. Apparently the story is good but until they release a movie I'll never know.
This. I still think the dialog mechanic is preet interesting. However, the horrible combat gameplay was a turn-off every time.

I got the Final Fantasy I & II Dawn of Souls GBA version. I heard it was vastly improved upon the NES version. If that's the case, I'd be frightened how awful II NES is.

Final Fantasy IV is awesome and one of the better Final Fantasy games(and gameplay-wise on FFIVDS), just gonna say that to prevent confusing some people again.

Wow, all of you people's rants look like nitpicks! Mass Effect having a confusing control scheme? Oblivion's level-up system confusing? Next, I'm going to hear "Metroid Prime is too linear." Seriously? Have you even played those games for real? Mass Effect's controls are pretty easy to learn, and Oblivion's levelup system is as simple as "go DO the skill you want to level for a while, go to bed, spend your points on the trait that IN THE DIALOG BOX says it governs the skills you want to be better. Anyone who can't handle that should never go anywhere a D&D table.

OT: Dante's Inferno. The game was deceent although slightly boring, all the way until incorruptible Beatrice(go read the book, you will understand why this makes me mad) FUCKS THE DEVIL! I still beat the game, but then sold it.

I never hate a game, some just irritate me more than others. I don't hate Halo, the point of it just irritates me. Or certain story modes irritate me. But generally, I like all games.

I'm not too upset, though, because I got it for six bucks.

Bioshock. I love the atmosphere in the beginning. Then they give you a fire hand a wrench and tell you to go fight zombies. And collect widgets. And back-track. And then I lose interest.
