Wow, I swear we had one of these threads earlier this week.

Creativity is dead.

OT: As I always say in these threads, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Arms_Glitch_in_the_System].

Currently, Blizzard owns the rights to this game, and I feel that with some creative string-pulling, they could do something really awesome with it if they wanted so.

Oh well. At least the game has been ported to the XBLA. That's something I guess.

Some one already said Front Mission so I'll say my next one.

Resonance of Fate.

An RPG base around acrobatic Gun Fighting in a cool dystopian/steampunk/magic/post apocalyptic/ what ever you can describe that world as, with a semi puzzle world map.

If there was a sequel with more gun types and a better balanced combat system, it could rank as a must play out of a collection of RPG's.
I would just like a sequel to that game just to flesh out the plot a bit more. Seriously, the majority of it is just mercs dicking around and then BAM! In the last chapters shit gets real... for some reason. You pretty much have to look up the plot because the whole thing is like a jigsaw puzzle that's missing a few pieces. I agree on more gun types, because there were only about two, but the combat system is fine. Once you get the hang of it, the game is pretty easy. Then again, maybe that's why in NG+, you can choose to up the difficulty and there's that bonus dungeon waiting to be conquered.

Personally I'd want a sequel to Bulletstorm. After replaying that game again I realized how much I loved it. I found it funny, I loved the characters, and the ending soooo set it up.

I want Battlefield Bad Company 3. Enough of this main series bullshit the Bad Company games are way better.
Just came here to post that. If they're going to do a single player anyways, why not just go with an already established, decently received IP? They could still call it Battlefield 4. I also wouldn't mind a 2142 sequel. Wait, nevermind, it's coming, DICE is doing Battlefront.

I'm also on the edge for a Shadow of the Collosus sequel. On one hand, I want to kill more giant monster things. And on the other, I don't want the game to be watered down and lose what it is. At least I know that it will never have a sequel since the Last Guardian is almost in the dirtiest development limbo in the history of game development.

Metal Arms 2. Seriously, that ending was total sequel bait, Glitch's marking wasn't explained, the main villain is still alive, I would love for a sequel to that underrated gem.
If I remember correctly it was originally planned to be a trilogy of games. Its a shame they never continued, that game was amazing and I would have bought those so fast.
That's what I heard too. Specifically from the Jimquisition.

Tom Clancy's End War was a great idea that I feel deserves a sequel, as well as Civilization Revolution, I loved that game but it had issues with match-making and freezing.

Although Persona 4 Arena exists and acts as a sequel to Persona 4 and 3 I'd greatly enjoy another story featuring the Persona 4 cast. Psychonauts and Brutal Legend also sit pretty high on my list.

EDIT: Oh, and if it counts I'd love to play a prequel to Mass Effect. I'd love it to based around one of the alien races preferably set in the Rachni or first contact war.

Battle for Middle Earth. These games were fantastic and I spent many hours faffing about in skirmish mode of these games. Sadly, EA being stupid as they are wont even put them on their Origin platform and only God knows why they wont do it. I am also unable to play the first game as my disk is broken!(SADNESS)

I would also like to see a sequel to the Darksiders franchise while I am also kinda scared what Nordic Games are going to do with it.

I have wanted a sequel to Ground Control 2 for a long time. That game, along with its previous title Ground Control, pioneered the concept of squad control over total control. Base building was non existent in those games; players simply dropped in a number of infantry, tank and air squads (each one could be customized to focus on offense, defence or speed) and controlled them for the duration of the mission. Add to that some absolutely stellar voice work and Ground Control was easily one of the greatest RTTs of all time.
Unfortunately, I do also realize that a sequel to those games would not do very well in todays market when compared to the Company of Heroes and World in Conflict titles.
Still, one can always hope.

Ico should totally have a sequel, but at the same time, it was so good, you wouldn't want to run the risk of ruining it with continuity. Maybe it's flawless by it self.

Heavy Rain would be cool, but I suppose Beyond Two Souls will have to suffice.

And Last of Us is a Naughty Dog game, so we KNOW there will be another...

Crimson Skies 3 - I don't care if it's a traditional flight sim or, like the Xbox version a Rogue Squadron game
Rogue Squadron 4 - speaking of which
BG&E2 - Now that everyone bet against the Duke, this game is now KING OF VAPORWARE
Republic Commando 2 - the best Star Wars games seem to not care about the Skywalkers
Zombies Ate My Neighbors Again - In which all the movie tropes get made fun of. hopefully they'll give you enough skeleton keys this time

The Darkness 2. Ended on a bigger cliffhanger than Bulletstorm, and it was a slightly better game with the RPG mechanics being a major part of the game instead of something similar to a scoring system/currency.

Give. Me. Sonic 4. Episode 3!

Why would they stop with Episode 2 if it was awesome? I wanted the trilogy to be fulfilled and allow me to play with Knuckles!

C'mon, Sonic Team. Make it happen!

I would love a sequel or an graphics update of the Legacy of Kain Series. Seriously, I would love to see this....

...in updated PS3/Xbox 360 graphics.
A friend of mine was working on a new installment for current gen consoles. They recently came out and spoke about it which is why everyone now knows. alas it was cancelled 3 yrs into development.

It does seem however that they're resurrecting the multiplayer component for a new title.

I'd like to see a Sequel to the Original KOTOR. The so called Sequel we got is an embarrassment. And yes i'm sure it's great with the cut content mod but how does that help people who played it on console. On top of that when i buy a game i epxect the story line to at least make sense without fans having to come along and fix the Dev's mistakes.

I really want to say Eternal Sonata since I really really love it, but I also sort of don't since tbh the game's story sort of ran its course with no real need for a sequel. So maybe a sort of spiritual successor sort of dealie with a similar game set in the same world with the same basic aesthetics and mechanics, but not really involved with any of the story of the previous game would be the best course of action.

I mean Chopin would probably still have to be around in some capacity since sort of the whole point of the original Eternal Sonata was that it was Frederic Chopin: the RPG, but still :V

My number one pick for all these type of threads is Beyond Good and Evil. Mainly because, as far as I'm concerned, the proposed sequel doesn't actually exist. Outside of that though, I'd really like to see a remake or sequel to Jet Force Gemini.
