Games you want but can't get cause of console availablility

I don't deny Microsoft are cunts. They've built a career on being cunts. But the strength of my ****-detection is tampered with when there's a game I want to own being held just out of reach by a black-hearted asshole company, while MY black-hearted asshole company try to tempt me back to it's clique of space marines.

Well then you made the wrong choice on which exclusives you want, don't blame sony for that. I mean microsoft isn't gunna give up any of its exclusives willingly either.

Anything on PS3 or that's only playable on a PC that's capable of running games basically. I can't think of much off the top of my head right now, but but yesterday there was about a dozen I was itching for. Put it down to the Christmas alcohol.

I see what your saying. But I only really bought 360 exclusives cause I could and they looked good. if i had a PS3, i doubt I'd find any of the 360 exclusives as monumentally compelling as I'm finding DC Universe Online.

Ahh, I include the PC as a 'current generation console' as well. I own all three.

I also own the last generation consoles like the PS2, Xbox and the Wii.

OT: Sometimes games won't run on PC so I know how you feel... But I just buy them on Steam during a sale anyway, knowing that eventually I will upgrade

Also, you should buy a PS3. They're totlally worth it. It currently has all the better exclusives coming out this year and next year (unless you count Gears, ugh. Ratchet & Clank is a bette TPS).

I own a PS3 and a PC.
PS3 picks up all of the PS3 exclusives and games I cannot handle on my PC, PC picks up everything by Microsoft since 360/PC exclusives are more likely than 360 exclusives.

All I miss out on is Wii (I can definitely live with that) and the developers who thought releasing only on the 360 was a good idea (I despise them anyway).

Going through the enormous catalogue of PC-games that I can't play due to lack of PC would take a while, but the most pressing one is Mass Effect. I want the whole shebang of using one character and one storyline throughout the trilogy, and that's unfortunately not going to happen until I get a PC.

Then there's Alan Wake, Dead Rising and Fable 2 for the 360 that I can't have. Not that they'll convince me of getting a 360 for a very, very long time (if I ever will, that is), but still.

I think we all know of some games we really, really wanna get but can't because they're not on the appropriate consoles for us. They're on consoles we don't own and can't get for whatever reason.

So what games do you really want but, due to not having the right console for it, you can't have?

My most recent one is DC Universe online. I'm a comic book guy, and I love so many DC Universe characters, so not being able to get this game feels like Sony are just deliberately pointing and laughing at me as I longingly watch the opening cutscene and character creation process and masturbating (note: masturbation does not take place. the previous was hyperbole to reflect how much I long for and love this game)

It just annoys me. Microsoft have made a concession by giving PS3 owners Mass Effect, but Sony can't see it in their cold, black hearts to give us 360-playing comic book fans this experience.

Do you think all titles should be multiplatform? And what about getting it on the PC? From what I hear when someone makes an MMO they usually keep the hardware requirements from getting too steep to make it playable by people who can't afford high end pcs.

Oh my...god. I never really notice in-game music much in Fable games, but if I'd heard this before I knew of the Fable games, I'd seriously look them up just because of this.

Tbh I do genuinely think they should. Well, with unfortunate exceptions of course. We can't be expecting a Wii to run Mass Effect as well as a 360, PS3 or PC could.

I genuinely believe that making ALL games on as many of the major platforms as they can will benefit everyone. Developers get more momeny, the gaming companies get more money, and no gamers feel alienated and have to resort to pathetic ***** threads like this one.

Metroid: Other M is not good at all. It sucks. It has absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Stay as far away from it as you can. On the other hand, did you know that Metroid Prime Trilogy was made for the Wii?

I don't have an Xbox 360, so I can't play Tales of Vesperia or Crackdown. I know Tales of Vesperia is out on the PS3 in Japan, but I don't know Japanese.
