I'd like to see a game where you play a character that starts out ok, but gets more and more evil as the game progresses, but in a realistic manner, and that you can see he has reasons. but by the end hes just a bad guy, and then see a sequel come out where the main villian is the person from the first game and you have to fight the character you got to know so well

Arcanum 2.

Please anyone?

Such a great universe and levelling system. I mean a Please god someone pick the license up....

This is a Chapeau of Magnetic Inversion it deflects bullets....yes it's a top hat with a force field generator.

How can people not want to remake this game :<
The game was good because of Troika, and they're gone. Who ever would pick it up now would no doubt screw it up and try and turn it into a God of War or Diablo clone or some bullshit.
I don't know I bet Bethesda might do a good job. I liked Fallout 3. I think the Arcanum structure and universe would work for one of those types of games.

I think them making a top down isometric rpg is a little unlikely if thats what you mean.

A modern FPS that:

* Would make use of medkits instead of Health Regeneration
* Would let you carry many many guns.
* Would have a variety of guns,at least 30.
* Would have secret areas to look for.
* Would have some kind of collectible in the levels to look for. (like Gold in Wolf3d)
* Would have a large single player mode.
* Would have large, some time complex levels.
* Would feature grotesque and disgusting/frightening moments.
* Would give you the feelings of lonelyness, hopelessness etc.
* Would feature some puzzle/maze like levels that would make me burn my brain to find the way out.
* Would let my character move as fast and be as agile as Duke in Duke Nukem 3d,anybody on Quake 3,or B.J. at R.T.C.W.
* Would have various gadgets that I would carry at my inventory to use them accordingly.
* It would have a mostly serious storyline with cinematic cutscenes, and maybe some humor at some points.
* Would let me aim at the enemies RTCW/Goldeneye style, not with iron sights.
* For console's shake, iron sights would be replaced with good old auto aim/aim assist.
* It wouldn't have obvious invisible walls.Better see the nothingness that is behind some walls than hit my head on an invisible wall.
* Would feature lots of unlockable content to enhance replayability and keep me interested.
* At the end of each level,it would tell me how well I did.
* It would have split screen, and system link/LAN multiplayer options available.
* Its PC version wouldn't have a paranoid DRM.
* It would make use of any extra feature of all platforms. It would make use of xbox360's Kinect in some way,PS3's 3d graphics,Wii U's controller,PC's dx11 and raw horse power.
* It would have 20 or more multiplayer maps from the get go,like the good old days.
* It would have many customizable options for the multiplayer to let us choose various things.

In short words: An FPS with modern graphics and technology that its design filosofy and gameplay mechanics would be from the classic pre-2001 era.

Me and my friend have been discussing how popular, amazing and successful a console Pokemon game would be. I would love to see a 3D version of a pokemon game.

Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Seriously Valve, it's been four years now and you've made three games since Episode 2! What's stopping you? Apart from Valve Time, obviously.

A Pokemon action/adventure game with combat mechanics somewhat like Final Fantasy XII. Direct control of the Pokemon battling is optional.
A Pokemon RTS. If someone smarter than me comes up with a way to make this work, it can only be awesome.
A Pokemon MMO. I'd play it just because it'd be so radically different from the norm (read: WoW).

A Zelda anything that isn't a typical Zelda. When it comes to games that haven't innovated much, Zelda is right up there with Pokemon, Madden and Gears of Halo Duty. RTS, JRPG, survival horror, doesn't fricking' matter.

A squad-based FPS, but, instead of the difficulty modifying the enemies, the AI of your squadmates are altered. At the easiest difficulty, your squadmates do all the work for you, giving you the option of just being along for the ride right up until the last few levels. At the hardest, your squadmates suddenly become a liability, complete with blowing up the explosive stuff dangerously close to you and friendly-fire.

They'll just turn it into another hiking sim with bad writing/story/characters.
I thought Fallout 3 was a really good game, I enjoyed but I guess everyone has their own opinion. I was fans of 1 and 2 and I played them when they were released. I think they captured the atmosphere and setting well.
People who say that it's no good becuase it's different from the originals need to get real and see that kind of oldstyle isometric game wouldn't sell well and would have just wrecked the IP. I think the same applies to Arcanum.
They seem to forget about the monstrosity that was Brotherhood of Steel...at least Bethesda's attempt was better than that...

I want a game where you can speak/type to the characters in the game and they react realistically according to their character. Think of the characters you want to curse at. Imagine if you could so that, and they reacted to it. To me, that would be amazing.

All this, just so I can curse at Gary Motherfucking Oak when he chooses Bulbasaur.

I'd like a game to be made that's like the sims but first person. You're not God on high, you're just an average person. You make yourself and then you're put into the world. You get a job, make money, meet people, get married, have kids, but with something like Sims humor where you can also meet aliens and search for big foot. I dream of mashing something like the sims and mass effects interactions into one game....this all is explained better in my head...I'll shut up now.

An HD remake of Final Fantasy VII. MAKE IT HAPPEN, SQUARE!

And bring back Mandy Moore to voice Aerith, please.
As long a Lance Bass is NOT cast as Sephiroth.
They can keep the rest of the Advent Children cast. They did fine. Just...bring back Mandy Moore. Mena Suvari sounds so monotone.

I'd like a free-roaming zombie game. I know that Dead Island is coming out sometime, but I'd like something...different.
[sub] I'm sure that Dead Island will be a lot of fun though[/sub]

What I'd like is a free-roaming zombie game that takes place in a big city, and the sewers beneath the city. (and maybe even the country-side around the city, like farms and stuff.)
A game where even one zombie can be really difficult, and a group of zombie would almost be impossible!
You'd have to gather supplies, and you'd be able to find survivors.

Hell, I don't care if there is absolutely no story, I just want a game like this, dammit!

[sub]*sigh* I can still dream... and hope that Dead Island will be even the slightest bit similar to my dream...[/sub]
Hell yes! Suburbs to the north and east, farmland to the west and, a pier to the south. I can see a stronghold of sorts in the highest building too, along with other similar strongholds like the grocery store in the burbs and, power grid in the sewers. Something like that. I'd play the hell out of that. For zombies that strong though, I'd think they'd have to be shamblers instead of sprinters. Keep it nice and traditional.
Exactly.

We can all agree that sprinting zombies are much scarier, but if the zombies are going to be really tough, they'd have to be shamblers.
*high five*

Aah, how I have always dreamed of this game. Personally I'd want a realistic inventory system, so you can only have three or so guns on you at a time and also having a climbing system would be imperative for a game where one zombie would be dangerous.
I'd also love to see plenty of countryside. My idea for it would be a game where you just go as
A climbing system would be great for a game like that, but maybe not 'Assassin's Creed parkour' kind of stuff.

long as you can, barricading, scavenging food and supplies, fuel, ammo, weapons, coming across other survivors, etc.
Even if the game is just purely a survival-horror game without a story, I'd still love it!
