Every time i walk into a media-store i see SW Knights of the Old Republic.
I heard it is a great RPG and Star Wars-game but i always tell myself that it's old and that it doesn't have very good graphic and so on.
Yet i always regret not buying it afterwards.

Do you know a game you like but simply never bought?
If so; would you please tell us why you didn't buy it.

Pokemon ranger.
I thought it was a nice take on the pokemon series, but never found myself interested enough to get a copy.

For me it would have to be FF 7, everyone I know tell me that It's an amazing experience but every time I see It I just stare at the back of the case and put it back, feeling that my money would be better spent on something that I'm familiar with. Guess I just hate potential disappointment e.g street fighter 4, damn I hated that game.

Hah, pretty much the same here. Graphics aren't actually the issue here, I don't really know why, but I always end up keeping those 5 bucks or however outrageously cheap the game is nowadays. Maybe I will play it some day... Just not yet.

Also, possibly Gears of War. Even though it's completely not my kind of game, years ago something clicked in my head saying "this game is worth checking out" and it just stayed that way. The funny thing is that the cover system, for which it was so widely praised, has now been painfully overused and misimplemented, so playing it today would probably be a chore.

Valkyria Chronicles.

I read a few reviews, heard it was a good game, liked the concept. Didn't get it solely because it's a PS3 exclusive and i already sold my soul to the Microsoft White brick the XBOX360 which i've now had to have replaced by Microsoft TWICE in three years!

Heavy Rain.

I've heard a lot of good things about it, and I love any game with a good story, but I just can't convince myself to buy it.

I got it, and replayed it a few times. It has a lot of Pokemon influence on it, but it's not a regular Pokemon game. Still, I liked it, it was a new gameplay style (if a bit repetitive), and it has a Pokemon Diamond/Pearl unlock for you if you beat the game. It's worth the money ($30) I paid for it. If you see it in the bargain bin or for a piss-cheap price, I'd get it.

Crap, now I'm going to have to rebuy that game since I lost it.

For me, it's KoTOR.

I don't know why, it's probably the gameplay.

Final Fantasy 13. I've played it briefly, but compared to the overall playtime of it I've done nothing of it.

And I never bought it just because...I dunno. It's a combination of never getting round to it and not having enough money.

Uncharteds. I know I'm an idiot but I plan on buying the 2 this holiday and waiting for November 1 when Uncharted 3 comes out to play that.

I was in a used games place years ago and saw a used copy of Valkyrie Profile for sale for 40 dollars or so. I didn't get it because I didn't have any money at the time. *forehead slap* If I had only known how rare it was to find ANY copy...

Really, chances are that now I'd probably only get it for the diamond/pearl exclusive pokemon, but I had already gotten it from my friend trading it over to me and back and then using wi-fi to get one.

CoD, Gears of War, almost any gritty, army-ish FPS.
I just don't care for brown, people-shooting action. (interesting how the comma prevents that from being extremely politically incorrect)

I enjoy Halo enough, but Half-Life games are my very limit. I'm not really interested in being scared when I'm playing this genre.
Hence my love for TF2.

I'm sure they're good games in their own rights, but just... Meh. I don't think it would feel worth the time to get to know them.

I just bought both of them this week. Never played anything so awesome as ninja storm. Then I played Ninja Storm 2 and all I can say is... holy --ing crap this is brilliant!

OT: I still haven't played Halo: Reach. The wierd thing is, I played every other Halo on the day they were released. I'll be honest, ODST ruined that for me. I'll get around to buying it when it's cheap though.

Shadow of the Colossus. God god, Shadow of the Colossus. I had ALL that time to buy i but I never did. Now I can't find the damn thing! Well hopefully the release of the Prince of Persia Trilogy in PS3 means that SotC will do the same.

Exactly this. Even when it was on sale.
