I'll probably just buy a 360 some day to play through it.
But that's the Beta Version...lol

OT:
New gen games. Still waiting for the price to get even lower.

If games like Thief, Wolfenstein: The New One, Watch_Dogs, Final Fantasy XIV, Metro Redux and the Far Cry games were to launch on the Wii U in addition to every other console, I would have absolutely no reason to get a PS4 at all (until FFXV, Kingdom Hearts 3 and, other exclusives launch on it anyway). It just seems like the PS4 and Xbone are getting remakes/remasters of PS3 games which makes me think to myself, "OK, I can either wait until the original release is reduced to the price of a dollar menu item or, hold off getting a PS4 until 2016/2017 by which time those remasterings will be between $15 - $20." I was hoping I would want-to-want a PS4 by now since we're already halfway through 2014 but Killzone SF and, inFamous SS are both still between $50 - $60 depending on where I've looked.

Other than that, I grew up with an N64 and really wish I had more access to the Twisted Metal series and, various Capcom fighters.

This is more of a future example, but if Silent Hills is staying as a console-only release, no PC availability, I'll be totally fucked. D:
Simply put, most of the exclusive games on the PS3. Most recently, Dead Rising 3 and Titanfall.

Metal Wolf Chaos, a Japanese-only Xbox exclusive.
A bunch of cave shmups that were only released on the 360 in Japan. I really hope the 360 drops in price more in the near future so I can afford one and finally play some of these.

None. Besides if you did want to get something than you'd get it. By not getting it means you really never wanted it all that much to begin with.
So because I'm forced to choose between a new console and game and rent and heat that means I don't want it enough? Do you even know what the hell you're talking about?

Oh, I've run into this more than once. There's one that stands out above the rest, though, most galling to me in its sheer irony.

Why the hell is Arcana Heart 3 a PS3-exclusive...but only in North America?! Why does Japan get the 360 version, but we don't?! That makes the opposite of sense!

Pretty much the majority of consoles exclusives I would pay and play if they were ported to PC.

I can't get them on PC fine, because I won't buy a console to play a game is being kept hostage by it's respective monopoly (Sony/MS).
I don't understand how a game made by Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony employees can be called a hostage franchise.

For example, how is a game like The Puppeteer made by Sony Studios Japan a hostage franchise?

Or Bayonetta 2 with Nintendo? Bayonetta was turned down by all major Publishers until Nintendo stepped in and saved it.

Any console release ever. Most notably to me is Journey and Shadow of the Colossus.

The main release I can think of off the top of my head is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. I watched my roommate a couple semesters ago play it from start to finish pretty much but being a late-bloomer to the Metal Gear Solid franchise I would've loved to experience the game for myself.

I didn't even play previous games in the series, and watching that boss fight at the very end of 4 still was a powerful, gripping sequence.

Because "us and them" is why. When you fall for that platform wars nonsense than you will make silly statements to try and paint "them" as evil. The fact so many PC gamers hold some seriously odd loyalty to PC to the point they'll miss out on games they want to play has always been a sad thing.

Dragon's Dogma and Demon's Souls are both games I would have liked to play at some point, especially the former which looked really interesting with some ambitious boss fight mechanics. But I'm certainly not willing to spend hundreds of $$$ on a console system just for them.

I mean there are a couple of games that have looked interesting but, I take care to not end up wanting a game unless it's confirmed to come to PC (or the WiiU exclusives). I'm sure if Dragon's Dogma and the like ever end up on PC I will want it but, it's difficult for me to want something that I've deliberately avoided content of.

Shadow Complex

Literally, the only game of the previous generation I legitimately miss at all.
I got to play through some of it on my friend's 360.

It's a good throwback to Metroid without actually ripping off Metroid, but it wasn't worth 300+ bucks to me then, and it isn't worth 120 to me now.

Most Sony releases. God of War, The Last of Us, Infamous, plenty of Tales games, and Shadow of the Colossus are the most notable ones. The only Sony system I've ever had was a PS2, but it broke before I could get around to most of the releases I wanted to play, and I never bought a PS3 due to most of my friends only having a 360 and having only enough money to get one.

At the moment, any console exclusive. I don't see it as worth it to pay $400 for a console just to play a few exclusives - which to be honest, most I'm not particularly interested in. Plus, as we've seen with Dead Rising 3 and Ryse, some "exclusives" eventually get ported to PC anyway.

Plus I have a huge Steam backlog to go through anyway, so it's not like I'm lacking for good games to play.

Halo: Master Chief Collection. I am a big Halo nut, and nothing excites me more than having all of the mainline Halo games on one console, in 1080p, 60FPS, and a remastered Halo 2. But I'm not overly sure if I can justify forking out the best part of £400 just to get the game to work with my setup.

The Last of Us. I am a sucker for story driven games, and The Last of Us looks like one hell of a ride. But I don't own a PS3, so all I can really hope for is a PC port, but the chances of that happening are super, super slim.

Uncharted. See above.

Destiny. More curious than anything. I have enjoyed Bungie games in the past, but the exclusivity thing is bugging me. If I were to get an Xbox One for Halo (as mentioned above), I would love to get Destiny, buuuuuuuuuuuut I have a strong feeling that the game is coming out for PC at some point in the near future, so in the end I will probably regret it.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue. I am also a fan of the AC series, and Rogue looks infinitely more interesting than Unity, but whilst I own a 360, I am not too big on the idea of buying a game, just so that I can buy it again a few months down the line, at least if Assassin's Creed: Liberation is anything to go by.

Well, at least for Halo/Last of Us/Uncharted, you could always just wait as this generation ages so you could get both the console and the game for a lot less than it would cost now.

I don't know if that would be as possible with Destiny as it does have a MP focus.

Fable 2... so much. While I did own an original XBOX, I came to know the original Fable through PC port, and that PC Port did WELL, and it is still baffling to me why Fable 2 never saw a PC release!
Eh, it's a fun game. Not spectacular though. I didn't follow the hype leading up to it so I wasn't disappointed with it like a lot of people were. I just found it to be an above average game. It is ridiculously easy though. I never died once and I think I had a surplus of about 15 resurrection phials. It's pretty neat being able to own every property in the entire kingdom and essentially becoming the king.

OT: Most of Nintendo's games don't interest me all that much but I have always wished that their Zelda games were available on all systems. The last one I played was the Windwaker and to this day, it is in my top 5 favourite games. Honestly, I don't even care that much about the newer Zelda games, I'd just love to play the remastered Windwaker.
