Games you wish had a sequel (or another one after the last)

So I was recently going through my game collection and I came across an old game that I used to play back before the ps3 came out. It was called Dark Cloud 2. I remember reading somewhere about a Dark Cloud 3 coming out, but that was way back and I haven't heard anything about one since. Other games I would like to see have at least 1 more sequel:

Darksiders (not sure if there is or isn't going to be one, so I put it on here)
Fate (No more xpacs!)
Okami
Mark of Kri
Bard's Tale

So, fellow escapists, how about you?
(also, very sorry if there was already a topic like this)

Fallout 2

That's the only one I can think of. Generally I dislike sequels because I already have the original game and if I want to play that then I'll play that, I don't want another game that gives me the same thing.

Easy for me. Viewtiful Joe.

A trilogy without an ending is just sad.

Mark of Kri did have a sequel, it was called Rise of the Kusai. While it had its faults (no multiplayer, repetitive boss battles) its a game I still really enjoy.

Edit: I agree so thoroughly on Okami its not even funny.

BRUTAL LEGEND

It wasn't the best game ever (though I liked it a lot) but it had so much potential and deserved one, something I rarely think about other games that receive sequels.

I can think of others, but if I had to pick one I would pick that.

Oh, I didn't know that. I'll have to check that out then.

Viewtiful Joe.
Bomberman.
Skies of Arcadia.
Advance Wars.

My top 3. But so many more...

I'd like to see a sequel to the game Black, the late PS2 shooter. I had a lot of fun going through that game and blowing the living shit out of everything I came across.

I'd also like to see a sequel(either direct or spiritual) to Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Everything about that game was awesome, except for the hallucinations that made me think that I just lost everything on my memory card or that my Gamecube had just gotten fried (fatal hard drive/hardware failure, I believe).

Black's getting a sequel, sort of. Stuart Black (the creator) worked on a game called Bodycount, which is set to be a spiritual successor. He's left the project, though, so it's not really a spiritual successor any more, but I'm sure it'd still be worth keeping an eye on if you liked Black.

Well I share 3 with OP:
Darksiders (the ending suggests it)
Okami (not one for the DS... An actual sequel on something I own would be nice)
Dark Cloud (Loved the 1st game. 2nd one not as much, but it was still fun)

And a bunch of my own mind:
Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross (Great games. I want more)
Persona
Ratchet and Clank (I'm sure one is coming eventually, but not soon enough for one of my favorite series)
Maximo
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance
Half-Life...
Metroid Prime
Ninja Gaiden
Borderlands (Maybe a sequel that ends in finding a vault of treasure instead of an easy to kill monster)
Brutal Legend
Psychonauts

And I think thats all I can come up with right now

Jak 3.
Hear me out, I can hear the cries of "It has sequels!" already.

Jak X was maybe a sequal kinda. It developed characters a little, but it needed more. It was more like an experiment by Naughty Dog for their racing mechanics.

I haven't played The Lost Frontier, and I don't plan to. I've heard about it, and it sounds fine as a game, but I don't know about as a Jak game.

So yeah. I want a Jak 4 for my PS3.

I would like to see a darksiders that has a co-op mode where you can play with 3 other friends and all be the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse :D

I liked the first dark cloud, but I could never get past the place that was full of pirates. I finished the 2nd one though, which is why I would love to see a sequel. :p

Agreed. ...well nothing else anyway. All the games I can think of would only be ruined by a sequel. In fact I can think of more than a few sequels that I wish had never been made.

I believe that was their original plan for the first one, but then they decided to get more experience before attempting it.
