Looooooong, ok not really long story. Crysis. Had I not played crysis I would not have looked up its review and would not have found Zero punctuation. That already has stolen many hours of my life. [small] I can't wait for wednesday's episode[/small] Had I not found zp I would not have found the escapist and would not be destined to spend precious homework hours on it. Like the ones I am wasting now.

Also I wish I had never touched CnC 4 tiberian twilight. **** that was a load of net requiring crap. I have the best internet you can get in Africa and still can't play that franchise murdering Shite.

To wish to unplay a game insinuates that I spent enough time playing it before I realized it sucked to actually regret the effort I spent.

Fable 2 holds the title for hinting at a fascinating plot giving me all this build up only to completely pull the rug under you and give you the most horribly anti-climactic ending ever in a game.

If Peter Molyneux was in the room with me when I discovered that all I got for my efforts was a cheezy statue, I'd kick him in the jimmy.

This is the game I would love to unplay.

I wish I could un-play WoW then maybe I could be successful and have a girl friend or not be fat...
I play WoW, and I do well at college, have a girlfriend and am widely accepted as being in excellent physical shape. :)
That's great for you. no reason to rub it in...

No reason to blame to WoW. :)
wait...is that you Robert? if it is I know I asked you to join but I never thought you would...

and why not I spent time on there that I could have spent you know with my friends or advancing my social life and in the end it just felt like a job that I had to pay for...
No, I'm not Robert. At least, I don't think I am. Hold on, I'll ask.

Ok, no I'm not. Apparently, I'm Conor. But that's ok.
I play WoW for hours at a time. Conveniently, though, I suffer from a mild insomnia, and so I'll spend most of the night and early hours playing. The daytime, however, I'd spend working out, socialising and, well, flirting.

You can't really blame the game. You can say you spent too much time reading books, or you spent too much time studying. Point is, this thread is for games that were so horrible you want to erase them from your memory, not games that took up too much time. Do you see where I'm going with this?
yeah I see where your going with this. so whatever I no longer wish to continue this conversation...

There are times when I wish I had never played any games at all. They haven't done anything particularly enriching in my life. They have made me anti-social, cynical, and depressed.

Then I play a game that truly entertains me (Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, Fallout, etc.) and I don't feel like that anymore. The feeling comes back, though...

GTA4. Half-Life is a close second, neither were as great as the world made then out to be. World told me both were going to be God, only to in truth me more like...someone who's not god.

The Witcher. Such a boring game. 20 hours in and I was bored to tears of it.
Is it really that bad, I keep meaning to give it a go because i love the books it's supposedly based on (Well the 2 out so far)

OT: I wish i could un-play Sacred 2, such a disappointment i played for about 40 hours still nowhere near the halfway point so I'm told and it was terrible. I wanted to complete it out of stubbornness but just couldn't manage it

Belive it or not, Wario Master Of Discuise. God, that game was THE game that pushed me over the edge of Mount Child and into the dark pit of Cynisism. Damn game.

lost-the game. Easiest 1000 gamerscore I've ever gotten, but I don't think it was worth it

OT:FFXIII

It ruined FF for me
Yes really. Don't tell anyone, though. It's my secret identity.

On topic, I'd have to agree with everyone listing Too Human.

I'm still determined to complete it though.

95% of the jrpg's ive played (including XIII). Also the 5 minutes i spent playing farmville. I have no idea why that game is so popular.
