Chrono Trigger. I couldn't play it anymore after I played Chrono Cross. At least I got far enough to catch all of its references in Chrono Cross.

Resident Evil 3 is the only numerical RE that I haven't finished (discounting Code Veronica).
I own God of War 1, but never played it. I am playing Chains of Olympus though.
I still have to finish Metroid Prime 3.

Really, the only games I missed out on are the old Adventures games of yore like Grim Fandango and what not. Those are games I regret not playing (that, and Perfect Dark for the N64).

I'd love to revisit Conker's Bad Fur Day if only I had a working N64.

None actually, I plan to get around to all of them eventually. Well, ok, going back to the days when I used to rent I guess I can think of a few.

Lost Kingdom (I think that was the title, a creature-summoning RPG from the early years of the Gamecube) - not a great game, but fun and really challenging.

Super Mario Sunshine - Despite what most people think, I had a lot of fun with that game and never did get every Shine.

Those are the only two I can think of right now.

Wow, you never finished Halo 1 or RE 4? Their great games, why not?

For me it's the original Resident Evil. I want to, but i'm still at the start in the mansion (as Jill), and have just saved some guy from a giant snake. I read through on Wikipedia, and it looks like their a lot more to go. Still want to finish it though (mainly to watch the cut-scenes)

Shadow of the Colossus - I got to a tricky jumping part, but my controller had been dropped too many times and refused to cooperate.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age - The first one was so much fun, but Lost Age turned into a big pile of grind, so I gave up.

LOTR was a good game. I wish I knew where I left my disk...I think I loaned it to a friend along with Shin Megami Tensei. Thankfully I'm movin in with said friend for college this year so I can beat him senseless until he gives it back.

FFX took me three times through to beat it. I would get really close, then something would come up and I would stop playing for a month. I'm one of those people that has to beat a game through without any long breaks or I can't do it so I would restart it every time.

As for ones I never finished that I wanted to I would have to say Morrowind, Balder's Gate 2, and Icewind Dale 2.

I got to the end of Final Fantasy 8's third cd, but couldn't beat the boss and then left the game to rot for like a year.

I came back and decided to play it again from the start. 40 something hours later, I came back and beat the boss and got stuck on the next one. It was around this part that I realised that I FUCKING HATE FINAL FANTASY 8. Not because I got stuck, but because the battle system is so infuriatingly boring. Magic and regular attacks are useless, because you have summons that deal 20 times more damage and to all enemies, and using just these summons worked great up until this point. Also, turned based games are supposed to be relaxing to play, like chess. You shouldn't be forced to repeatedly tap the button like a Mario Party minigame just to do decent damage.

Had that game for like six years, never even got to the last cd. And now I'm stuck on one of the final bosses of FF7, however since I actually like that game, I will finish it someday.

Hotel Dusk - liked the Story, but the Gameplay got to boring for me, especially since i want more of a "quick fix" game on a handheld console.
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones - Hated the Bossfights too much, but was still fun in between.
Alone in the Dark - Yes, it isn't really a good game, but still the adventure parts were satisfying and i liked many things about the game. I just got a lot of games that deserve a lot more to be played...
The World ends with you - ...like that one. Will be finished when i have nothing left to play for the Xbox360 (probably sometime next year)

Never finished GoW2, FF8, FFX, Halo1, DMC1 and RE4 and don't much care to try and finish them either (most of these bored me to tears).

Games I do want to finish though:
Okami (I'm at 70 or 80% or so)
Darkness (70% as well)
Psychonauts (I'm halfway through the patients at the psych ward)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Strangely having fun with this one, don't have an XBox btw)
Condemned 2 (barely started really)

Games I wished I had played but fear playing because they probably won't have the impact on me people are telling me they will have (Portal was a major let down in this regard, good yes, but hardly the divine entity people claim):
Shadow of the Colossus
Beyond Good and Evil (I have it (for 5?), but dare not pop it in)

X3heartless:
Never payed OoT. Never finished Link to the Past either and can't drag myself to try it again. I completed Link's Awakening about fifteen times though. Yay for the original gameboy!

I'm sort of embarrased to say this, but...

Beyond Good & Evil
Psychonauts

Don't get me wrong, I loved them for the small part I did play them. It's just that when I rented them, I got other games too that sort of took my attention for the week we had 'em.

The -only- game that I wish I would have finished before letting my friend borrow it in a time of lethargy and nihilistic thought...

Final Fantasy 9. God, I love Kuja. He's a badass.
