KOTOR2 and Dreamfall: The longest journey both needs sequals, they're meant to be trilogies but never made it past the second one. I've also been dreaming of a SMAC sequal (or atleast a game with similar ideas) since forever.
The first and latter are probably will get a sequel. We've already seen cinematic trailers of the first, and plenty of talk about the latter. Psychonauts...sadly, I doubt we'll get a sequel to that.Tyler Halvorsen said:Beyond Good and Evil, Phsyconots, Mirrors edge
I know what you mean, but I'd be watching Deus Ez 3 if I were you, I'm getting pretty pumped for it. Here's the trailer, although you've probably seen it already. I just like posting it:Allevil said:Deus Ex.
There was NEVER a sequel. Just like the Matrix.
I think their problem is that they painted themselves into a corner with the first one. The game is awesome, but it ends as Order 66 is issued. So they (wrongly) assume that no-one would want to play a sequel where you play as the "evil" commandos hunting down Jedi.Methos12 said:Star Wars: Republic Commando
Seriously, whenever LA says it's going to announce another SW you always see a small group of fans asking if it's gonna be RC2. Their prayers have not yet been heard.
I'm usually fundamentally against the concept of sequels, but I agree with this one. That game was awesome. I might just dig it out and play it again.Rituro said:Arcanum. The world needs more dwarves with guns and molotovs.
YES! I want to find Sev, and go rogue!MaxChaos said:Star Wars: Republic Commando. Incredibly weighty Star Wars FPS, showed the darker side of the universe, ended with a cliffhanger. The bastards.
I also want a next-gen rival to the Best Game Of All Time, Mario Tennis. A game with Wii motion controls doesn't count.
