KOTOR2 and Dreamfall: The longest journey both needs sequals, they're meant to be trilogies but never made it past the second one. I've also been dreaming of a SMAC sequal (or atleast a game with similar ideas) since forever.

Shenmue 3 and a new Jet Set Radio game. NAO.
A continuation to Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines would be sweet too.
And Dreamfall. Or TLJ. Whatever. Just continue the story, and keep Ragnar as mastermind of it all, and I'll be happy.

Another good one is Tales of the Abyss. They did a sequel for Tales of Symphonia, but not Abyss :(

Star Wars: Republic Commando

Seriously, whenever LA says it's going to announce another SW you always see a small group of fans asking if it's gonna be RC2. Their prayers have not yet been heard.

Arcanum. Gods I love steampunk. I can only imagine a sequel with modern graphics. It has to stay true to it's RPG-roots though, it should not become like Fallout 3.

The first and latter are probably will get a sequel. We've already seen cinematic trailers of the first, and plenty of talk about the latter. Psychonauts...sadly, I doubt we'll get a sequel to that.

Deus Ex.

There was NEVER a sequel. Just like the Matrix.
I know what you mean, but I'd be watching Deus Ez 3 if I were you, I'm getting pretty pumped for it. Here's the trailer, although you've probably seen it already. I just like posting it:
Cyber-Renaissance....*shudder* I can't wáit.

Also, The Matrix Reloaded is allowed to exist because of the fight in the mansion, the highway chase scene, and plenty of Monica Belucci.

Mirrors Edge, because:

1) Sequels are always (read: sometimes) better, and I would love to see the free running system perfected.

2) Ending that hardly solved anything.

Mischief Makers. Loved it even though I got stuck once for like 6 months. Calina's still out there by the end; she could kick off a new plotline that drags in Marina and Theo.

Duke Nukem
Wolfenstein
Timesplitters
Medal of Honor: Airborne (or just any Medal of Honor game that's not in modern combat >.>)
Sim City by Maxis
Mirror's Edge

I realize a lot of these have sequels, but I want more. :p

I think their problem is that they painted themselves into a corner with the first one. The game is awesome, but it ends as Order 66 is issued. So they (wrongly) assume that no-one would want to play a sequel where you play as the "evil" commandos hunting down Jedi.

Which, speaking for myself, would make for a kick-ass sequel.

Oh Good GOD!!! Why aren't there sequels for "Advent Rising" and "Breakdown"!?! Both deeply awesome games that , despite being flawed, made you feel like a badass superhero, had lots of cool set-pieces, and had an engaging story that both ended on fucking cliffhangers!?

I'll never know what happened to Derek in the future, or where the big moose alien took Ethan.... :'( and it fucking sucks..

I'm usually fundamentally against the concept of sequels, but I agree with this one. That game was awesome. I might just dig it out and play it again.

Star Wars: Republic Commando. Incredibly weighty Star Wars FPS, showed the darker side of the universe, ended with a cliffhanger. The bastards.

I also want a next-gen rival to the Best Game Of All Time, Mario Tennis. A game with Wii motion controls doesn't count.
YES! I want to find Sev, and go rogue!

Also, they fucking need to make KOTOR 3! Not some shitty ass MMO, I want a KOTOR 3!
