World of Warcrap. It would have saved me a lot of abuse in high school if I didn't hate that game. People realized this as a weakness and trolled me with it all throughout grades 10 and 11. If I didn't say "This game isn't really for me," I probably would have never wound up having to write a 6500 word essay on why the game sucks and then a 3-verse song on why the game sucks.

Fallout 3. It has so much in it that I like, but for some reason that I have no idea what it is I just refuse to put the game into my PS3 and play it.
We sure have gone 180 degrees as a society, when people get bullied because they don't play time consuming, mediocre high fantasy role-playing games.

I think you've experienced major injustice, and I feel bad for you.

I agree on the Fallout 3. To be more exact, Fallout: New Vegas. I played for an hour, then I made a new character, and rerolled again, and just tried to figure out why is it that I fucking hate playing every second of this game. I never understood why.

Half-Life. I wish I could be as ecstatic about it as everyone else but it came off as mediocre to me in every way.
Hooray somebody else agrees! You do mean the first Half Life, yes? Not hl2? Because hl2 is fun, but the first feels like its from the same bag as Halo combat evolved. Both Halo and Hl just pissed me off more than anything. I played both in the space of a week in order to find out what all the fuss is about and left with a foul taste in my brain.
Woah, I'm completely the opposite. I played Half Life 2 a year or so ago and thought it sucked hard. Then I got the original and found it a BLAST.

I bought the orange box and it took a while for me to get into it, and it turned out to be a blast. (I reget not buying it while i still could play TF2)

Meh, I guess I can understand that. Although why you didn't specify Half Life 2 is beyond me. Anyhoo yeah maybe I wasn't playing it right but I found the constant travelling a little tiresome and the tram sections especially so. The variety of monsters and environments made it faaar far better than Halo but hl2 had a gun with which you could launch a car engine into a coppers face with lethal velocity so I felt the lack of more inventive options in the original Half Life left me with nothing to do but blast things away all the time. not that there is anything wrong with that I suppose.

Portal, I bought the game off XBLA after hearing endless good reviews from people and magazines, I thought it was all right to begin with but then I got stuck on one the levels and I just couldn't figure out how to do it, so yeah.

Dragon Age Origins. Everyone loved it, so I decided to buy it. I wasn't a fan. Bought the Xbox version (I know that was a mistake) and...I dunno, it just didn't grab me like I was hoping it would.

Also Resident Evil 5. RE4 is one of my favourite games, but Resident Evil 5 just copied and pasted it all and it just wasn't original. They had stuff about there being hallucinations and stuff in RE5 when the game was previewed, but no. They were taken out and instead the game was an RE4 clone. I liked the control scheme, but when the whole game is the same!

Black Ops, don't why so many people like it. I wish I loved it as much as Modern Warfare!

I really wish I'd get some kind of kick out of MMOG's, but none of them work for me. Looting and adventuring parts I like, but can't stand other people and non-existant storyarch. Sadly MMOG's have by far largest areas to explore and stuff to do, but all that is second to an enjoyable gaming experience, which MMOG's can't offer me.

Hearts Of Iron 2/3.

I just can't get into them, even though I know what kind of a strategic world they can open.

Fallout 3. I've heard so much good stuff about the game and I've had for at least a couple of months but it's never been able to hold my attention and keep me playing.

I'm not the guy you quoted by the way, I just picked up on your comment.
I suppose it was fun in parts, but it just felt extremely dreary to me for some reason.

Sorry bro. I meant the series in general.

Final Fantasy 9

Allegedly the swan song before the series plunged completely into a predictable pattern of boring titles with samey-looking characters.
This is one of those few instances where I adore the gameplay (well, apart from the ridiculously high encounter rate and battle length), but despise the art direction. It's a damn shame too, because the direction was technically astonishing for the PSX. They really did wring every last bit of potential they could from the game engine.
