Personally I know of a good number of games for the P.C. and DOS that would be fine additions to GOG's lineup. What games you would like to see and why while providing a youtube clip of gameplay

Machines:Wired For War-One of the first 3d RTS that actually emplyed the topology of a terrain to allow for complex stratedgy and advantages while simultaneously permitting the player to gain a first person perspective of the machine they were controlling.

BattleZone 1 and 2
2 games that gave you a taste of both FPS and RTS at the same damn time!

The Divide: Enemies Whithin
A game from 1996 on the PS1 and later the PC that was panned for its difficult controls, thing is once you master those controls the world opens up to allow a very immersive experience that allows one to truly feel they are on another planet billions of years in the future.

Crusader: No Remorse/Regret
Two games that I feel defined the isometric third person shooter with a well developed storyline and a style of gameplay that really made you feel you were doing something you should not be caught doing.

The Hive
A prerendered rail shooter from 1995 that was harder than hell and kept you coming back for more.

Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2
A pair of devilishly funny games that put you in the role of an allmighty dungeon keeper whose job was to micro manage and generally conquer the good guys. It's Good To Be Bad.

Syndicate and Syndicate Wars

2 Games also from the allmighty Bullfrog that had you run and gun from an isometric perspective, running errands for syndicates that had otherwise superceded governments as the ruling bodies on Earth.

Theme Hospital
A game also from the frog that had one ruling over a generally bizarre hospital treating some absoluty hilarious sicknesses while micromanaging you staff and the happiness of your patients.

Redline:Gang Warfare 2066
In the future civilization has all but vanished after the earth suffered a human made catastrophe rendering the landscape a barren wasteland where homicidal gangs in futuristic cars wage war for survival.

Slave Zero
Another game from Accolade that saw one control a 50 meter tall robot in a surprisingly lifelike city for its time. While the story and dialogue is all forgettable, the gameplay, music, and atmosphere is certainly not!

Rocket Jockey
Strapped to a rocket trying to tear other people off their's all the while grooving to a kickass 1950s soundtrack produced by Dick Dale, nuff said.

Music does not play in the video though.

Rebel Runner:Operation Digital Code
A side scrolling game from South Korea in 1996 that while lackluster in gameplay and story cannot be denied its personality and style.

Now what games do you want to see on Good Old Games?!

Edit:

I forgot Heavy Gear 1 and 2
Both excelent games that made you feel right at home in a small, fast, nimble, but incredibly well armed power armor that you sat in the chest of while it mimicked your own movements (in the game of course).

Dark Reign 2
A 3D RTS that allowed one to control 1 of 2 factions fighting to gain control of a technology that would allow them to escape a dieing Earth. (I never played the first one so I cannot recommend it)

Warzone 2100
Another fine RTS that permited one to research technology to build bigger and badder units that in turn allow for a much more varried combat scenario.

Note: While the game is free, because of this it lacks music and (I think) cutscenes as the copyrights were never bought by the original company. Thus this would be reason to resurect a retail version.

You really should post this on the GOG forums. That said there are two games I really want from GOG which they don't already have or I don't already own: Anachronox and Grim Fandango

Good list as well!

You might be interested to know that there's a fan updated version of Dungeon Keeper which works well on modern computers available for free HERE. Been playing that game a fair bit recently and its just as fun today as it was when it came out. Higher resolutions also work wonders on the games visuals.

There is a place you can post on GOG? I was looking for something like that and could not find it, could you provide a link please?

Daggerfall is actually free from the Elder Scrolls website. HERE. There's also a mod up at MODDB which improves the visuals, though you'll have to look that up yourself.

Have fun!

Not sure if there's a specific forum for suggestions, there used to be, but anyway here's the link to the GOG forums.

Definately agree on the Crusader game, Dungeon Keeper and Syndicate. I would also like to see X-Wing vs Tie, and Alpha Centauri. Yes they can run without too much pain, but it's not as convienient

Fanboy post: Put the original Tombraider on there.

Also Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2. I don't really know the criteria for GoG but I would define these as two games in my version of Good old Games.

The X-Wing and Wing Commander series are both high on my list -- I want to play Tie Fighter again, and I never did get to try Wing Commander III. Beyond that, I don't really know -- I still have all of my old DOS games, they're sitting next to me in a CD binder on my shelf right now. X-Wing and Tie Fighter are special cases, in that the first one belonged to my cousin, and the second one I borrowed from my uncle, so I never did have my own copy. (This was in the days before CD burners were standard equipment, otherwise you can bet I would have a copy right now -- and mods, please don't get onto me for that, I haven't done anything of the sort since middle school, and these games have been out of print and completely unavailable for well over a decade now anyway.)

Wow, that mod makes a massive difference. Thank you for raising my awareness of it!

http://www.moddb.com/mods/daggerxl - The mod, for anyone wanting.
Well, you just made my day -- I already knew about the project, but I thought it had been abandoned. A quick check of the forums shows that Lucius made a post a couple of months back, acknowledging that he was still alive! We're still years out from a fully playable version of DaggerXL, though -- it's in the pre-alpha stage, and is only as far along as it is because the engine was ported over from DarkXL, a similar project by the same individual for Dark Forces. That one has been in development for 2 years, and still isn't out of Alpha.

Would love to see the first System Shock there, preferably tweaked to work flawlessly on XP and other new OS's. Also on Steam, bundled with System Shock 2.

I agree with Warzone 2100, BOTH Dark Reign's, Battlezones and Syndicates. I would also like to add:

The Neverhood goddammit! (And it's sequel)
Bungie's Marathon games?
The Conflict Series
Area 51 (I found a freeware version, at least the site claimed it was, so if it is GOG should grab it :D)
Westwood Studios' Dune 2
System Shock 1 & 2 (so that I can play them XD)
The first 4 Monkey Islands
Grim Fandango
Shittonnes more, but the above ones are really my biggest wants :D
