I'm one of those that won't trade in anything. I remember the first time I was going to, then I found out I was going to get jack for my pristine trade-in with manual. I'd rather keep a bad game than sell it for a pittance and let them resell it for five times what they paid me.
That aside, I go back and replay things a lot. Good games are like good books/movies, I enjoy seeing the story again.
I would never trade in my copy of Mirror's Edge. It's so short but it's the kind of game I've always wanted, and to my knowledge there are no other games like it.
Also, my Pokemon games. Each one is my own little 185+ hour time sink.
Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate 2
Baldur's Gate 2 ToB
Fallout
Fallout 2
Neverwinter Nights
Deus Ex
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Planescape: Torment
Legend of Dragoon
Final Fantasy VIII
Dragon Valor
Demon's Souls
Other than the last one, they'd be hellishly difficult to replace.
Gyromite - that was the first video game that I owned. I still have that NES and it works too.
San Andreas (PC)- it's an original copy. I probably wont ever get rid of my ps2 original copy either even though I don't have one of those hack drives.
Burnout Revenge (ps2) - Coolest driving game I've ever played.
Katamari Damacy (ps2) - Was the reason I needed a ps2.
Actually, I don't really sell games. If I'm really sick of it or hate it, I'll lend it around until it lands with someone who likes it.
