I'd probably say a very realistic WW1 game, with 64 man multiplayer.

Can you imagine that? It would be the ultimate cover based shooting experience. The maps would just be 10 mile long trenches on two sides.

What would you say?

That sounds alot like Red Orchestra, specifically the map Mamayev Kurgan. A freaking labyrinthe of trenches...

A game based on WWI could be good but it would probably have to be based anywhere but the western front, which is the only part of the war people would recognise.
Unless we're talking about strategy games like Hearts of Iron, there should probably be more games like that concerning WWI

A game I'd like would be Total War set in the future with space vikings. Simple enough, I think.

wow too many to mention, so I'll go w my top 5:
- A realtime version of Risk
- Trivial Pursuit: VGGames Edition
- The game from 'Never Say Never Again' w better graphics
- A proper life sim (w gametime set at 1 min = 1 year)
- A game controlled 'Minority Report' style

How about a real Parasite Eve sequel? So much untapped potential. Heck, I'd settle for a graphics update. That would be awesome.

And how about another game like Colony Wars for the console? That game was awesome for it's time with its branching story and like seven endings. None of this "Oh man we lost a single battleship. Game over. Restart the level." No, you let that ship die and the next mission will be harder since it's not there.

Look up Victoria 2 it has a steep learning curve but it might just be what you're looking for.

Look up Victoria 2 its might just be what you're looking for or any other game by Paradox. They have a steep learning curve but once you figure it out you will instantly fall in love.

I'd like popcap games to get off their sorry asses and make a new peggle. I want 100s of levels and the ability to make your own level. New power-ups and a few different themes would be nice. Nice HD graphics and online multiplayer. I would love an update for bejeweled.

I also want more Lumines. I mean a version available for the PC with all new skins and more kick ass music. I'd die a happy man if I cold have that.

This idea is just a thematic concept and includes no gameplay mechanics to go along.

I've imagined myself making a game that convinces players to actively take part in a Holocaust-analog. It can't use the actual Holocaust or anything recognizable because players will instantly realize that something is wrong. It would be tough, but I would find it awesome if a game could put somehow recreate the conditions which led to otherwise normal people being O.K. with the Nazis in power. Put people in the shoes of an average schmuck during hard times being bombarded with propaganda, which doesn't feel like propaganda but almost like a tutorial, and in a setting that's unfamiliar enough (use aliens or mutants off the top of my head) that you can't instantly make the connection.

Yes, it would be somewhat like Spec Ops, where they make you do horrible stuff but more open ended. Like when you finally disobey, it might end up with you getting shot, but the credits roll in at that point like you just figured it out and in fact "won" by dying. The whole point being trying to show that while people might think they're above it, given certain situations anyone can be convinced that some really crazy stuff is right.

While it is not similar, the subject would come up in my idea. I want a Valkyria Chronicles style Strategy game that is a chronological history book of WWII's important battles. And I don't just mean the famous one you always hear about, every battle that was important in the war, would be a mission. Yes, this would mean all sides in the war, from the standard D-Day and Battle of Stalingrad on the Allies side, to playing out the Invasion of Manchuria or the Invasion of France, to lesser known but impactful battles.

I say your idea would come up because you could not escape the fact that a lot of the early German victories would directly set up the conditions for executing the Holocaust. But it would be a cool idea to give an interactive history lesson within a more traditional game, compared to some other games that try to do the same thing.

There was a parasite eve sequel . It got turned into an action game . While not "BAD" it wasn't what i was expecting . I really liked parasite eve , that game was a classic .

Same thing happened to Dino crisis . The sequel went from survival horror with dinosaurs ( a la Resident evil ) to action game .

OT: I want a pokemon MMOrpg . It can be done , it would be fun , and addictive .

Victoria 2 can have a WWI occur depending on circumstances. It's likely to be a very different WWI (Mine was France, Germany and Japan (Me) against UK, Russia, Scandinavia, Austria and Ottoman Empire), but it's there.

Jade Empire 2 - Not made by BioWare
A Warhammer 40K inquisitor game which would play similar to Mass Effect, you have a ship as a hub, you can talk to squad mates, 3rd person cover based shooter and a morality system(Puritan and Radical)- Not made by BioWare

Obsidian should make them.

I've said this before, but I'm happy to say it again:

A games with XCOM: Enemy Unknown's combat (with some tweaks) set in the Mass Effect universe. WIth characters instead of interchangeable squaddies.

-A total war style Elder Scrolls RTS. Conquer Tamerial as a race and could even have the Akavir invade like the khans in medieval.
-Brutal Legends 2
-a open world rpg game set in prehistoric times, with dinosaurs and mammals coexisting. You play as a human.
-A open world rpg with a zombie apocalypse. Think Fallout with just zombies.
-Sins of a Solar empire 2

A game like Fallout 3 or Skyrim (basically a Bethesda game) set in SPACE.
Mass Effect Tactics: Like Fallout tactics but Mass Effecty.
A FPS survival game set in a destroyed huge city with loads of different areas with the antagonists being dinosaurs of varying sizes. You start off a noob and have to run from enemies when you find them, but through scavenging and bartering with other players you can get weapons and take down enemies, starting off with the babbies and when you get really good and team up with your buddies you can take down bigger and badder enemies. Final boss is Godzilla. Oh and when you die, you die for good like Dayz.

A videogame based on the manga Biomega. I love that manga to death and it has 'videogame' written all over it. So much so that it's almost a design document some capable developer could follow panel for panel. It would make such an awesome videogame.*drool*
